This game is fun. The story gets a little meh by the end, but the combat is really fun and all the sidequests and minigames are pretty good too.

This was a fun game back in the day.

The other day I reinstalled it and I cannot recommend this game to anyone in its current state.

The internet will tell you Valve has abandoned this game and the bots flooding any given match would make me agree. In the few hours I played yesterday I saw multiple bots, 2 of which spent their time in the match spamming literal hate speech in the chat.

Until that problem is rectified I won't be playing again.

Don't let the poor graphics fool you. For they only service the insane variety in this game. This is as close to the freedom of a table-top RPG as I've gotten in a video game. Even if they're still working on the main quest line I would recommend getting it, because you'll easily get your money's worth out of what is there.

I don't get why everyone is complaining about the lack of patches. I haven't noticed a need for one to begin with. I'm not too far into the game but I love what I've played thus far and would totally recommend it to anyone that thinks they may be interested. That said, I'll come back to update this review if I do find something that makes me think a patch would've been useful or needed.

This game was great. I loved every second of it, and if you're into visual novels in an interesting cyber-punk world, then stop reading and buy this game. You'll love it.
