Don't mind me just helping bring the review score up, for the war effort as it were.

Control is a fascinating game. The universe is heavily inspired by SCP and is very interesting to explore and learn about, though I think it could have leaned even further into that world. It looks beautiful and the combat is smooth and satisfying, if a little shallow. Lots of the plot is left open to interpretation and doesn't wrap up neatly (though I haven't played the DLC yet). Not necessarily a bad thing though. Some elements feel very out of place like the whole crafting system and random timed quests which should have been left on the cutting room floor.

Overall super solid and the sort of creative direction that should be rewarded.

It's 1D Into The Breach, which makes it a bit less intense. Runs are also shorter which is nice. Very addictive with lots of goals and an impressive amount of depth. Very good.

Brilliant DLC. I mainly play multiplayer and this adds so much more content that's really brought the game alive.

I've only played (failed) the first proper mission but I know this is a good game. It absolutely nails the Aliens atmosphere and lore. Combat and exploration is tense and satisfying. There are a few small issues (like squad commander being a bit mouthy) but the developer is on those. Big recommend!
