God I love this weapon.

Hey, here is a fun game! It's basically air hockey, only is there not only 1 paddle but 3 on each team, and the paddles are characters called "Strikers"! Oh, and what is that? They can bash each other in? Great! Now let's assume a role and hop into ranked games with my new favourite Striker, the cute slime girl/tsundere glitch cat girl/dommy mommy!

I'll play goalie, I need to see how the game works first!
Why is everyone else in MY goal? Don't they need to stay at the front and score goals?
Whatever, then I will play Forward and show them how to play in the scorer role!
Oh crap, a core got past me... but I'm sure my goalie can-... really? Really? REALLY?



The only negative point in the game at the moment, in my opinion, are the Awakening Drafts in Ranked. They are too RNG.
Otherwise, great game.

Time to update the review... This game is still a mess...
Season 4 just hit and it's still not getting close to it's "glorious" days of CBT and Season 0. It's better than Season 2, though... I guess.


- Lore is still missing

- it still takes ages for new content to reach us

- Items still have unbalanced stats that have to be rerolled individually

- Karmas are still unbalanced (for example, Cannon is way worse than all other Karmas, while DS dominates)

- new players still have barely any chance to compete in min/maxing, only through very tedious grinding, because gathering all the necessary items to fill the slots is hard enough... to get the best stat rerolls can easily cost 300k CP for only ONE SET and before you can even spend that, you need to farm the Magic Stones first

- CP gain actually got decreased this season... it was already abysmal... to give a perspective:
Items in the CP Shop cost around 10k-40k, depending on what you want... same and other Items can be bought in the Trading Post, the player led market, for about 5k-200k... they all don't give any advantage at all, it's practically just skins for the more expensive ones... but you gain only 300 CP after a 1-7 mins PVE run (depending on how good you and your team are) or 200 CP through a 5 min PVP match... btw, you can't even sell stuff yourself at the Trading Post because you don't have the items as a new player... and there is a 20% tax when the item is bought...
while you don't necessarily need gear to compete with other players, it often gives the edge to winning... especially if you just use the OP Max HP stat that increases your base 18k HP to 31k HP (before mentioned unbalanced stats)

-optimization is getting... worse. recent change to the UI apparently made it laggy (didn't experience it myself) and one particular map (Conq in Dungeon) kills your FPS (this I experienced myself)

- (extended shift is still a thing)

- character customization is still limited as dyes are pretty much unobtainable for free players, and a gacha for paying players... some events offer them, though

- (new players are just ♥♥♥♥♥, what can I tell you)

- ranking system still sucks, as everybody can achieve a pretty high rank (E-D-C-B-A-S-G, you can get up to S by just spamming PVP)

- (still no communication and apologies for broken promises)

- servers are still not fine

- Training Grounds still lacks alot

- developments for new Karmas are getting lazier... the 2 last Karmas released both don't have a multihit command and they added auto aim to the Cannon... for no reason... (they killed a few combos with it and made LMB completely useless)

- chat still sucks

- guilds are still useless

- PVE still boring


+ you can finally choose what mode you want to play again

+ they finally got rid of 5v5 clown fiestas

+ they put the new gamemode back into unranked (it was kinda unfair)

+ you don't need to put in that much effort to get a high rank, and with a bit effort you can become one of the best players of the game... because most of the formerly good players have already left this... disappointment

+ they finally added an Endurance Bar of players... (after a year)


Just... stay away from this game for a while. Until it improves... hopefully.
Or don't... I don't really care. I mean it's still a rather nice waifu simulator... if you have the cash.
