Fallout: New Vegas — if someone told me I'd be a lucky survivor who took a bullet to the head and lived to tell the tale, I wouldn't have believed it. But here I am, wandering the wasteland, meeting deathclaws, radscorpions with poison, and still wondering how I even survived. You can play however you want here: help factions, cause chaos, or just enjoy the freedom.

The story is great, the characters memorable, and the freedom of choice is awesome. Sure, there are bugs, but that's just part of the charm of the game.

The DLCs are also great: Old World Blues is fun and weird, Dead Money is dark and tense, and Lonesome Road makes you think about what could have been if you'd made different choices.

And the Strip: thought you'd just pop in for a quick game of cards, but 100 hours later, all your caps are gone, and the guards are throwing you out. Oh, and don't get me started on the "Gomorrah" strip clubs — left almost all my money there too.
