Another victory for super earth.

Now that we have made the Sony execs back off with the PSN linking I can wholeheartedly recommend this game to people again.

If you are somehow the niche of a fighting game fan who has a VR headset this game is 100% for you.

I have never been so scared in my life. Hearing my friends scream in horror as a monster pulls them away from me or when a bug lands on their head has given me PTSD.

Despite the removal of content, some of it questionable. The game is still just as good as when I bought it.
Do not listen to fighting game reviews under 50 hours, they never cared about the game

It feels like a roblox "simulation" game. I don't think this holds up as well as the other reviews are saying.
It is free so you can try it out but I would not recommend it.

one of my new favourite games of all time, and this is not a joke

The music is great and it's cool to shoot to the beat of said music but the gameplay is awkward and just overall not fun. You will often find yourself being hit from what seems like too far away, or some other janky hitbox. The arenas are too small for the amount of enemies there are and the speed of player movement. The shotgun is absolutely horrendous which is an FPS sin. You can only take 2 weapons with you which is a huge L in terms of design. Moving around feels weird as it's extremely easy to lose your double jump and air-dash without even knowing it. However there are a couple of things I actually did like and those were the active reload system and the weapon ultimates. That's about it though.

There is not a ton of actual content if your plan is to play through once. After about 1.5 hours I was over half way done the main levels. There is no reason to talk about the story because it's not very inspired. Performance is awful. Can't even play on ultra at 1440p on a 3060ti and would sometimes drop below 60fps on high.
