The amount of manual labor in this game is wild. You can't expect to do any exploration without knowing your base will fall short and fail before you can even make it back. It's just sticks and logs and sticks and logs and sticks and logs and sticks and logs. I guess it's perfect for those who want to live the fantasy of 2600BC village life if it is their preference.
