Really good game to kill time, not much thinking involved unless you are going for really high scores and its just plain fun. Just hit 300 Seconds and plan to hit at least 500 at some point before putting it down. Overall you get a cool and pretty unique game for a very low price.

Are you intrigued by the idea of becoming ridiculously overpowered, or perhaps captivated by Chinese mythology, novels, Xianxia, Donhua, or Manhua? Does the story from the Bloodborne DLC resonate with you?

If so, you absolutely must give this game a shot. It’s stunningly beautiful, brimming with replayability, and immerses you in an enchanting Chinese mythology aesthetic. And the best part? You can snag it on sale for just 6 €. The first DLC is completely FREE, and the second one is around 6 € as well—both of which add a massive amount of content and are incredibly enjoyable.

The gameplay is a thrilling blend of fast-paced action combat, featuring a variety of exceptional classes that each deliver a unique experience. You could unleash a dashing Assassin playstyle, wield the strength of a Swordslinger tossing a flurry of blades, or embrace the duality of a Sun/Moon Sect Class that alternates between devastating ranged Moon Discs and fierce Fire Slashes in close combat.


What’s even better? Apart from the second DLC and the soundtrack, there are absolutely NO microtransactions in this game. Every character is adorned with incredible skins and unique VFX Auras or Dash VFX, all unlocked for FREE just by playing and conquering higher difficulties.

I stumbled upon this game while searching for captivating Chinese titles, as I adore the aesthetic and am currently learning the language. It took me by surprise in the best way possible.

Truly, this is a hidden gem—without a doubt, the best Roguelike I’ve experienced so far. It’s a real shame that so few people have discovered its brilliance.

Usually I don't write reviews that long but this Game feels very special, I've "only" played 20 hours so far in the past 3 days but this is just awesome.

Okay guys hear me out, imagine you got League or Dota in good with an actual duoq without 3 other bozos in your team.

Das Grundspiel kann ich jedem Empfehlen, das Review handelt sich primär um das DLC.

Zum DLC habe ich gemischte Meinungen.

Pro:

- Die Gebiete im DLC sehen sehr schön aus und man hat viel zu entdecken.
- Neue Waffen, Rüstungen und Spells im DLC sind sehr cool.
- Es gibt einige extrem coole Bosse wie Messmer, Rellana und einige andere die ich aus Spoiler Gründen nicht nenne möchte.

Contra:

- Das Balancing der Bosse ist sehr durchwachsen, teils sind Main Story Bosse einfach bis sehr einfach
und Nebenbosse absurd schwer.
- Einige Bosse haben Hitboxen die absolut nicht zu Animation passen was die Kämpfe sehr frustrierend macht.
- Es gibt im DLC mehrere Bosse, die Fähigkeiten haben, welche einen durch die I-Frames der Rolle treffen (und meistens Onehitkillen), diese sind oft nicht speziell hervorgehoben was es sehr frustrierend macht davon getroffen zu werden.
- Gaius, ein Boss, der alle Probleme und noch mehr in einem verbindet,
Hitboxen das einem übel wird, er kann durch einen durchlaufen und einen Instantkillen egal ob man rollt
oder nicht in 9 von 10 Fällen und generell einfach schlechtes Design, ich nehme den Boss hier aber nur als
Beispiel, da er ein Extremfall ist, sehr viele der Bosse haben aber die anderen Probleme, z. B. auch der
letzte Boss im DLC der sonst an sich echt cool wäre.

Im großen und ganzen mochte ich das DLC, allerdings werde ich es nicht nochmal spielen so wie die anderen Teile der Souls Reihe und auch das Basisspiel, da hier zu viele frustrierende Dinge eingebaut wurden, nur um etwas künstlich "schwerer" zu machen.

Normalerweise habe ich auch kein Problem damit ein Spiel einmal zu spielen, ich habe hier trotzdem 30 Stunden Spielzeit rausgeholt, kann aber das Spiel im aktuellen Stand, sollte sich daran nichts ändern nicht empfehlen, da es für "casual" Spieler einfach zu "schwer" ist.
Auch wenn es definitiv jeder durchspielen kann, indem er Meta Builds spielt, die Mimictear benutzt etc.
sind selbst dann die Frustpunkte noch vorhanden und man schränkt sich im Playstyle selbst sehr ein.

Somit kann ich das Spiel für die allermeisten nicht empfehlen, außer:

- Ihr seid Hardcore Fan der Reihe, dann habt ihr es aber eh schon gekauft und das ganze hier ist überflüssig

- oder ihr wollt es wirklich nur durchspielen um damit vor euren Freunden zu flexen oder euch selbst zu beweisen, wie Frustresistent ihr seid.

The beta was good, and I was holding back playing the game more till it is fully released so I can enjoy it entirely. But for some reason the developers decided that changing the movement keys was just too much of a hassle for them, so now we're stuck using the left mouse button to move around unless we jump through a bunch of hoops and download sketchy third party tools to fix it. Apparantly the Devs don't care about bugfixes too much as of right now, there's even an option to change the right and left mouse button functions in the game settings that just doesn't work. How hard is it to enable a simple feature, really? So yeah, I was totally planning on giving this game another shot, but my muscle memory from other games is more important than playing this.

Almost 200 hours in, I still suck at this game but its fun.

Really fun game, graphics are nice on max Settings, Optimized fairly well for PC, but do play with an Controller.
Gameplay is somewhere between Nioh and Sekiro, I miss the Stance System from Nioh a bit but it's a lot easier and casual friendlier that way so it's good I guess.
Gameplay is very good and rewards parrying a lot, Story is alright, there is other games that tell the three Kingdoms Story better.

Used to love the game since the Gameplay is really good but the Community is the most toxic I have ever witnessed, this makes even League, Dota and CSGO look like a friendly little Community.
The Devs also have no Idea what they are doing outside of milking their Playerbase dry and the people at AGS that Localize it do even less.

Biggest waste of time, money and sanity in my life.
