Mudborne is a chill cozy game perfect for frog lovers and collector completionists. Discover mushrooms with strange properties to manipulate frog genetics. Use frogs with different attributes to progress and even power machines. As you explore you will come across fragments of information to piece together the lore of the game.

10/10 no notes this game is excellent. I enjoyed discovering all the different frogs, mushrooms, bugs, flowers, etc, while figuring out what had happened to Pond 7. It's not a super long game (you can ignore a few hours of my playtime, I fell asleep at least once because the music is so chill and listening to peeping frogs makes me feel at peace) but I think it's definitely got enough to it to keep me entertained. If you must compare it to Apico, the dev's previous title, Mudborne is shorter and less complicated. There's also less to build/decorate with. For me, that's not a drawback (or a positive, it just is).

Overall yes, absolutely recommend this game. Two big slimy thumbs up.
