This game is super cute! I really love the idea of it, how it functions and even the achievements keep things kinda fresh with different farm layouts needed to explore. The OST for this game is really relaxing to have on in the background too! It's a really unique game and I recommend

Yeah, it's short but man they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NAILED it. I love playing games like this for the atmosphere and whoever made it got it spot on. The music, the dirt, the ambience, the art style EVERYTHING lends itself sososososo well and makes a good gameplay loop even more immersing, even more exciting and tense.

Probably the most refreshing and unique roguelike I've seen in years. Super fun and addicting. I'm not addicted though, I'm dedicated.

I remember playing the demo for this game on Xbox 360 so many times as a kid but not being able to afford it. Going back over 10 years later and finally being able to play it I gotta say: this game is super underrated and is definitely a hidden gem.
Apart from the camera, which at times is Resident Evil levels of bad, almost everything about this game is amazing.

I really enjoyed this game!
I'm in love with this style of PS1-era graphics and I thought the premise was really intriguing. While the story is hard to follow it doesn't make it bad at all and the notes and thing you find will help flesh it out. The atmosphere was phenomenal and the game really didn't need to do much to get me feeling uneasy at all.
My only wish was that there was some sort of voicing, not necessarily actual voice acting but something creepy mimicking it in place of the subtitles would've really helped me be completely immersed in it, instead the subtitles which are in this almost Minecraft style font kinda took me out of it at times.
Still though, for how cheap it is you really shouldn't miss out on what is an incredible game.

Sure, the microtransactions, lying to the fanbase about promised content and sexual harassment and assault problems are a huge problem in their own right but if you don't care about those here's another reason to add to the pile.
Blizzard added OW2 to Steam because: the game is dying rapidly, they wanted to get as much money out of it as humanly possible. But in doing so they opened up a HUGE flood of smurfs. 9 games out of 10, from bronze-diamond, you will encounter a smurf. The matchmaking is COMPLETELY broken now because of this, you will get into games with people within a 2-3 rank range difference meaning you could be diamond and get matched with a gold teammate against a GM opponent. To add to this, the ranking system itself is also completely broken and not a single person knows how it works. Essentially, you have to either win 5 games or lose 15 before you get a VISUAL rank change but before that your rank will still change BUT it doesn't mean that you will change rank. You can go 5-0 and not change rank, I've even gone 5-2 and deranked before. Oh! Another amazing feature is the ability to queue with friends! Except the matchmaking system will not try to match 5,4 stacks and trios against other 5,4 stacks and trios AT ALL, so its entirely possible (and common) to have 5 solo players vs a 5 stack, 4 stack or trio/duo. Another fun quirk is the fact that (low) diamond players can queue with gold players and get put into GOLD lobbies instead of balancing the ranks.
This isn't really an issue with the game itself, more a personal issue of mine. For a game that is based around teamplay, working together, having a good comp, communication, etc. You will almost NEVER encounter it. 90% of the community are narcissistic & toxic, convinced that they are never ever the issue. Any and all feedback will be either disregarded completely or (more commonly) the player will just completely throw and you'll lose.
Overall, the game is a huge mess with too many problems to count run by a company that has descended from being regarded as one of the best video game publishers of all time to one with a completely ruined reputation, run by a psychotic CEO whose entire focus is SOLELY on profit margins and microtransactions. The development team, for the most part, do not deserve any of the hate. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ this game.
EDIT/UPDATE: This has been an ongoing issue since LAUNCH of OW2 but it has been more prevalent as of late. There is a good chance that someone in the game will DC at some point during a match, it's increased chances if youre queued with people. This will usually result in an instant loss for whatever team had the player loss since the game is so momentum based. Since LAUNCH this has been a problem and it's only gotten worse. It has lost me countless games at this point.
