The game has improved immensely, even when it was at the 1.5 update. 2.0 Seals the deal in the full fledged 60$ price tag off-sale. Even when on sale, it is that much better to buy. Better bring your PC specs a-game though, this game doesn't play even with the new DLSS 3.5.

You'll enjoy this game more when you do the side-quests, and find the open world events and items. Gigs give this game more life and make you feel like a Night city merc rising to NC Legend. The difficulty changes are better and worse, some parts of the game are unplayable with the revamp of the difficulties, but also adds a challenge element to it at other parts, before 2.0, all you needed was a sandevistan and a rusty katana, roll credits. One of the few unfortunate things about this game though, is that the relationship elements, and social life in night city aren't there. You are practically alone throughout majority of the game, even with the romance options, you have less than a handful of impactful events/scenes with them that feel like you are missing more important parts, like that it was meant to be longer than what you got. You gain all the credits, reputation, and have no where to spend it other than guns, cars, and cyberware.

You'll get the hang of what you wanna do in the game in the way you play it. There isn't really a wrong way to build your character, you can choose which path in the skill tree and weapons, and stick to it til the end of the game. Some are definitely better than others, but you can still get by with relative ease once you understand how the game works. I recommended this game after 1.5, especially now with 2.0. There is no reason not to get this game other than a PC that doesn't meet the requirements to run it.

The game itself is pretty good. Some quality of life stuff is missing like buy to ship cargo, vendors having too little money when going on an hour or two trek on a planet with abandoned or deserted structures and traveling on a planet by foot. Not being able to fly your ship to blast enemies or creatures in the sandbox area is a bit saddening. Little modding in due time would add that. Overall good experience for launch, decent game mechanics and gameplay. There are so many systems and different planets that I have yet to explore. I’m still exploring and scanning the surrounding starting systems with almost 66 hours and at lvl 32.

By the grace of the gods, This is one of the best story driven games I have ever witnessed, I recommend not watching a streamer or Youtuber play this. You play this for yourself and experience the life of the great Benjamin Brynn in all of its glory.
Its short and sweet that'll leave you thinking for longer than the game is. Will come back to this when I'm emotionally ready again.
