What do you mean I can't fabricate a claim with a spy network? I have to go through a parliament that can only be called once every 5 years, and basically bribe my estates with priviliges to get a claim on the one province minor adjacent to me?

I don't want a Victoria 3 style economy simulator, I want the map painting and intricate diplomacy that were prominent in EU4!

I bought this much earlier than I usually do because people were heaping praises on the game, but so far, the game seems to punish my preferred playstyle, starting as a small country, maybe a one province minor in the HRE, and blobbing up through war and clever diplomacy.

Putting arbitrary roadblocks in front of the player isn't fun, it's tedious.

It's still very early days though so hopefully things improve.

This is a developer I've been following for quite a while, and generally have been optimistic about. While their current mainline game in development is fantastic already, and I can only fathom how great it will be on completion, this game feels more like a side-project than a fully fleshed out concept.

It reuses a lot of art assets from the other game, which is fine, as I think they're good assets (though it does say something about the focus on this game). The big problem with this game is Tedium. This game wants you to put in way too much work for the minuscule amount of payoff you get. It took me at least six hours to fully transform one person. I was hoping that was just a first step and after that there'd be another challenge, maybe something along the lines of Plague Inc. But instead, all you get is a little counter going up, and a vague indication that they're "on to you" and you should restart with another variant. Which it turns out, is just the same process all over again, starting from square one, to infect a new person. And forgive me if I don't want to sit through another 6 hours of that for 5 or 10 unique blurbs of text, and a few erotic scenes showing the same animations over and over only available in the last hour or so of those 6.

I tried to give this game the benefit of the doubt, as I really like the developer and their other projects, but I cannot be dishonest about this. Only worth picking up if your really into the concept AND it's on sale, or you have the patience of a saint.

Possibly my favorite Sakura game so far! Really good story, although the beginning is a bit slow.

After spending 300 dollars on the game since 2015 they quietly remove mac support

This game is to "die" for

Very, very, very, very fun! Where Sim City rips you off, Cities Skylines saves the day. Buying this game turned out to be a very good decision. Recomend to all age 12+

Game is awesome you should totally play it if you are interested in anything because this game practically coveres everything.
