AlphaSonicNova
United States
In 2009 I was introduced to online multiplayer computer gaming. I wanted a unique screen name and drew inspiration from sonic booms and supernovae, I merged the two into "Sonic Nova" and checked Google if that combination of words had been used before... it had not. I then assumed I was the first.
I ran under "Sonic Nova" for years, even coining the term as "an event that forces sound to travel faster than light", but soon others started taking up the moniker and I quickly found myself unable to use "Sonic Nova" for new services. Instead of fighting for the name, I decided to change and added the prefix "Alpha" to it, denoting my strong belief that I was and still am the first "Sonic Nova".

It's a cute and casual puzzle platformer. The graphics are easy on the eyes with a pleasant soundtrack. Just a splendid little game. Only hard critique I have: I didn't know about the map feature so I put the game down for a few months since I didn't know where to go, but once I finally came back around to it I figured things out and quickly finished the game. I have a soft spot for these simple and short yet densely creative games.
