Pure visceral mecha action with tight controls and even tighter reflexes. The game loves to push you to your limits at certain points. It's classic arcade action with the feel of modern hardware pushing the game to be better than those games that came before. So now YOU have to be better!

I shrugged off playing this game for so long even when I was gifted it, only to fall into it so deep.... SO DEEP.

Definitely one of the best open world games to come out in the past few years.
The map is huge but doesn't feel empty. Combat is nice, though can get repetitive. The game however does a good job at giving you shortcuts to defeating foes and the payoff for using weaknesses on said foes is pretty huge. The combat actually makes it easier for you to not just spam spells and actually utilize the correct ones to deal massive damage.
The story is also pretty good. I haven't beaten it yet, but I'm about 75- 80% finished and I'm enjoying taking my time and exploring.

Some performance issues exist, but they are addressing them with patches. There's really no reason to not want to buy this game.

v1.6 has made a ton of improvements to the game. If you've been waiting for a better CP2077 experience since the game launched, this is finally it.

It's fun. It brings the old games into the modern era. Is it perfect? Nah. Is Larian constantly listening and improving? Yeah. Will the release build be epic? Oh you betcha! Is it worth it to buy it now? Heck ya.

If you like playing as a Vampire and building your own castle from pseudo scratch, buy it!
Really though, it's a good game! Nothing terribly ground breaking, but a new twist on survival open world.

I'm really sad I put this game off for so long.
I haven't had a game suck me in like this since before I let FFXIV do that to me.
I really, REALLY hope they bring back the Normandy from Mass Effect for a freighter reward... Knowing that is in the game but currently unattainable is a pain that goes deep. SO DEEP.
