This game, while short, is quite the experience for someone who enjoys rolling dice, mental math, and virtual gambling (such as myself). Best thing I've played this year honestly, had my doubts while examining the store page but the game itself blew my expectations out of the water very awesome 🙏

I've played the board game version in the past, and this matches pretty closely. If you liked the board game, you'll most likely enjoy this digital version as well! A couple gripes I have:
The card choosing UI is a bit screwed up, pretty sure this'll get fixed though.
I always preferred playing the expansion characters, and this game doesn't have them. (although this might also change in the future)
Overall, if you like board games, give Root a try.

fun lil game to play sometimes really makes me feel like i have some competence at things until that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bird comes please balance the bird it's really unfair

also those passwords leaked in the breach better have been hashed or we're having problems
(sidenote: damn that was a lot of data tho how did it happen??)

the less you know the better

my only critiques are:
-the game is very linear, there isn't really any side things that are significant except a couple npcs tucked away in random places
-niko's character can be a little basic at times, and it's never really established how the player is controlling them

otherwise very good game one of those rpgs that really sticks with you
