I can’t keep forcing myself to play this just to see if it finally clicks because it sure hasn’t.

Awesome aesthetic, great soundtrack, everything gameplay wise is a flop.

Most of the gameplay is atrocious parkour with terribly controls and parts that genuinely don’t feel playtested. Many of my deaths were caused by P doing the completely wrong parkour move and getting me killed.
The combat is meh, with the first boss barely lasting more than 5 minutes despite all the hype they put into parrying.

As someone who likes collecting items even if they’re meaningless, it feels like the game is punishing me for doing so. Besides the part that you might die a lot trying to figure out how to get the damn things, the game refuses to let you backtrack if you missed anything. You either can’t or get forced into dying of fall damage/out of bounds. Then are forced to load at the farthest checkpoint you’ve passed through without the collectible drone in hand.

I dropped the game at the section after the “language” cutscene. I ended up skipping an entire area by accident because I took a shortcut I thought would be for a collectable, but it took me to a checkpoint that leads into the next area. I can’t backtrack at all because the game was not designed for it.

It’s giving flashbacks to early assassin’s creed where you couldn’t get the mc to do the right parkour move for the life of you. And sometimes walk into areas wondering how the hell you’re supposed to get up there without dying.

balance your game

I know part of this is a skill issue but if you're gonna make gameplay this dynamic, with so many moving parts on top of managing stamina, then punish players for even getting hit once, it just starts getting unenjoyable
An entire system of the gunplay, combat focus to unlock stun weakpoints, gets locked out entirely just by being hit once
Not to mention the abysmal damage falloff on weapons which forces you to get closer

I'll come back as game gets updated, I see the passion and love the concept

Pulls you in with the interesting concept and aesthetic, but falls completely flat not only in story but gameplay. Combat is clunky, awkward, and gets artificially difficult with increasing numbers of minibosses.
Additionally, performance is absolutely terrible. Game didn't run smoothly until I happened to upgrade to a high end GPU.
Do not recommend.

Pretty good experience, worth the purchase

if you liked base game this is very good for your brain

if you're a completionist like me, it's not the kinda game you play to finish, it's more of an experience

Get on sale if you liked the gunplay of 1 and would like some more, story and other gameplay elements don't reach the same level but can be enjoyed
