Get the original instead, this version doesn't add much to justify the higher price tag. The $25 is better spent on the Stanley Parable and Beginner's Guide bundle. All that this deluxe addition really adds self-referential guff about the trappings of deluxe editions (that this deluxe edition then plays straight) and a series of unrelated jokes. While the jokes and the self-references are funny, they contributes very little, if anything, to the game's themes, and so just feels tacked on rather than an integral part of the game's humor.

Normally I would recommend this game just as anyone else has, for the same reasons. Really enjoyed this during the prologue and first two episodes.

Unfortunately, after reinstalling this for episode 3, it turns out that (after further digging) all the save data is saved inside the game's folder itself - which means that uninstalling the game also deletes all your save data, with no steam cloud saves to back you up. I no longer have access to a complete fresh playthrough of this game, as I'd have to replay the first two episodes - after already knowing what happens in each.

I'm not a strong shooter. But... I'm rooting for you!

I have "Going the Distance" by Cake stuck in my head now.
It's been there for several weeks now.
I don't know why, it's not even in the game.
It just happened.

Otherwise, 10/10 would go the distance again.
