Pretty good game. Personally i wouldn’t say its worth 20$ but closer to 10$ probably.

A few puzzles are really hard if you don’t know that "abusing" game mechanics, as in pausing mid air or respawning yourself on purpose (this one got me once or twice) is the intended solution

There are multiple mechanics introduced throughout the game but i was happy that the dev(s) didn’t mash all of them together just because but rather with intent for a specific "trick" or whatever you wanna call it.

Performance wise i had no issues even with my rather old rig.

"I can see the vision" is the best thing i can say.

The humor is there, the story telling probably gets even better later on but the gameplay is just... sluggish?
Get a "puzzle" answer wong? repeat the last 5 things you did.
Combat is a lot of sitting there and waiting for your cooldown to expire

I'll probably try this game again in a few years but for now i just can’t recommend it. Maybe the dev(s) have other great games idk.

PS: As a non native english speaker guessing the attacks / items seemed rather hard (without hints)

The inclusivity / ""wokeness"" (hate that term tbh) is a tiny bit on the nose but as long as you're not an average twitter user you'll be fine.

Story is pretty fun too!

At first glance, "Nothing" appears to be a paradox in the gaming world. A title that promises emptiness, yet plunges players into a labyrinth of intricate gameplay mechanics. As I delved into this enigmatic creation, I found myself caught in a web of complexity that left me both fascinated and frustrated.

The gameplay of "Nothing" is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it offers a depth rarely seen in modern gaming. The array of mechanics is so extensive that I began to question whether I had inadvertently stumbled upon a game development toolkit rather than a finished product. From crafting and resource management to diplomacy and espionage, "Nothing" is a sprawling universe of possibilities. However, this vastness comes at a cost – the learning curve is steep, and the gameplay is so convoluted that even after hours of playtime, I found myself consulting the in-game help menu more often than not.

It didn't take long for me to realize that the game's mechanics were akin to an intricate puzzle, each piece crucial to the overall experience. Unfortunately, this complexity might be a significant barrier for casual gamers looking for a more straightforward, relaxing experience. The constant juggling of various gameplay elements can feel overwhelming, and it took me a substantial amount of time to feel even remotely competent within the game world.

On the flip side, the game settings are nothing short of breathtaking. The attention to detail in crafting the environment is evident, and the world-building is on a level that rivals some of the most celebrated titles in the industry. The settings are not just diverse but exhaustive, allowing players to immerse themselves in a myriad of landscapes and scenarios. However, this richness can be a double-edged sword, as it adds another layer of complexity to an already intricate game.

One unexpected aspect of "Nothing" that took me by surprise was the need for meticulous record-keeping. Within the first 10 minutes of gameplay, I found myself creating my third Excel spreadsheet to keep track of resources, alliances, and various in-game metrics. While this level of detail might appeal to strategy enthusiasts and spreadsheet aficionados, it could be a tedious task for those who just want to jump into a game without the administrative overhead.

Yet, amidst the tangled web of complexity, the graphics of "Nothing" shine as a beacon of excellence. The visual feast on display is nothing short of stunning, with each frame meticulously crafted to create a visually immersive experience. From the minute details of character animations to the sweeping landscapes, "Nothing" sets a new benchmark for graphical prowess.

In conclusion, "Nothing" is a game that boldly ventures into uncharted territory, offering an ambitious amalgamation of intricate gameplay mechanics, exhaustive settings, and awe-inspiring graphics. While the complexity may deter some players, those willing to invest time and effort will find a deeply rewarding experience within the depths of "Nothing." As I continue my journey through this ambiguous odyssey, I can't help but appreciate the developers' audacity in pushing the boundaries of what a game can be.
