HEAR ME CITIZENS OF REGULAR EARTH.
DO NOT FALL FOR THE AUTOMATON PROPAGANDA.
THIS GAME IS NO LONGER WHAT IT WAS AS OF Patch 01.000.300

BEFORE THIS PATCH
  • You could do most missions solo, usually with some level of difficulty. It was enjoyable to a degree.
  • Weapons did ok at liberating democracy across the unclaimed space around Super Earth.

PUTTING THIS EDIT HERE FOR PEOPLE TO ACTUALLY SEE SINCE READING CAN BE HARD. Relevant to the section just below this anyway.
THE FRIENDS LIST, THE MAIN REASON TO HAVE FILTERS ON WHO CAN JOIN YOU, LIKE PUBLIC AND FRIENDS ONLY/CROSSPLAY/NO CROSSPLAY IS STILL BROKEN. I have a friend who added me to the in-game list because we tried to fix the whole not being able to join a friends only game with both an invite and manually joining via in-game menus AND steam. His invite is still pending but I can still do all the things the in-game menu wants, we just cant JOIN each other if its friends only. You know, a MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER COOP GAME needs a way to Multiplayer Coop without having to play with Randoms when some people in the friend group cant stand people that don't listen when people are talking, I am of a similar mind as that friend when I ask people not to put ♥♥♥♥ shells into the Artillery, and I can no longer put the Mini-nuke in slot one because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ McGee ignored me and put in 5 smokes over anything that actually does damage.

The game was just, FUN. Like there was nothing me and the squad would do more than just, have fun, hell slogging up to Helldive once we decided why not was piss easy when we worked together and all brought the same guns because the Game Master insists on making like 3 guns usable and nerfing everything else people liked. Like that time Automaton Prime got pissy and nerfed the Breaker.

This game has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shelf life and its well past it now. Future Patches may fix this, especially if its a lore wise patch and the Illuminate have infiltrated Super Earth. That's the only thing that makes sense. WHY would Arrowhead rip apart ALL of the guns people used and make them worse, while also nerfing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons they added in the latest pack. The crossbow was bad, why make it worse? The Eruptor was ok, WHY kill it? Like it had its uses if you were going full squad but halving its ammo count was just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Same for halving the best gun, the Sickles ammo count, I can count on all of my hands, and all the hands I have cut off of dead colonists on worlds that have been taken over, how many times I have had to reload ALL 6 Sickle mags out of my magic near infinite gun, because Swarms are a thing.

Hell this patch is so bad that I told my friend, who I have been telling for WEEKS to get the Super Citizen Edition like myself, and due to work and real world problems has put off getting the game to not get it. Thats $100 AUD that Helldivers 2 has just lost. Sure its ONE SALE. BUT HEAR ME CITIZEN. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. WATCH ALL THE VIDEOS AND STREAMS YOU WANT, DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY DIRECLY. NOT UNTIL Patch 01.000.300 HAS BEEN RECTIFIED.

Seriously, the game has no NEED for any of the NERFS any of the guns have taken, NONE of them have been broken beyond belief, Except MAYEB the Stratagem Weapon that is the Quazar Cannon, but ♥♥♥♥ me they didn't need to ramp its recharge time up as hard as they did either, Nerf the game anymore and its going to be googoo gaga simulator 1003.

Seriously, the games PVE not PVP, THERE IS NO NEED FOR A NERF.

The only thing at this point that will be the Nail in the coffin for everyone, DESPITE the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the patch comments saying we want it will be adding in Pride related content, we already have them with the communist march that is the Automaton Menace.

So I've been playing MTG off and on for a good 15 years now.

And I gotta Say, Arena is a great way to learn and muck around with decks.

IF you can craft the cards you need, and to get those wild cards, you need to farm in game currencies or use the free codes for boosters. OR spend IRL money on pre-release kits and some other things that have codes for in game boosters.

BUT, there's a massive issue with Arena, ITS REALLY easy to cause the game to hiccup and force draw the game, when its not even an actual problem if the game wasn't as MC Esher coded like it is.

There's also the massiver massive issue of the fact that both players, can only have 250 tokens in a game.
I have a Token ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deck I like to muck around against the AI with, BUT I cant math out my IRL playstyle because 1 Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation with a Helm of the host, makes an ungodly amount of tokens in 2 turns but its hard capped (The following math is not with Mondrak) when you go from 1 +3 then +81 and your next turn you are at cap, you cant work out the easy math of what you get each turn when you're playing with your mates in an actual game over ♥♥♥♥ you I am turtle playing.

Also get ready to just, play on luck because Meta is all the game is about and you can encounter A LOT of sweaty nerds who need to go touch grass because they sweat so hard they need to be banned from MTG not The Quartering for lies.

Spend money on this if you want, its not entirely pay to win but its not exactly not Pay to Win either, its a TCG, Legalised Gambling for kids, its very much luck based on card draws in game or from boosters.

There are very few, large reasons, that this review is negative. More about that later.

This game is Amazing. It's such a MASSIVE UPGRADE from the jankiness of Payday 2. To say "Quality of life" is an understatement, when, realistically speaking, it's a gigantic overhaul.

Movement is more fluid, AI is better, things are more straightforward, faster, less frustrating.
You can actually do things when you're not masked up, including doing entire heists. (I was carried by my friend whose post I am copying but changing it up a little ;D)

Some features I actually cant state how much I like it are:
The pager Indicator, like, now we know how many we have at any time, Only thing that would make it better is a way to increase it, like say a perk that you get 1 or 2 more pagers per person with the perk in the team, Only just starting at this point with almost no skills unlocked yo.
Corpse removal is now a thing with no skills or items needed, body bags are so last game.
Lockpicking is no longer a massive chore, AND its quasi automated so you can just not do anything but interacting speeds it up!
You have unlimited zip ties (If they limit this, I'm going to be mad as hell) Actually stolen from my mates post, Like, I CAN NOT begin to describe how infuriating how badly they did Zip Ties in PD2. I can buy a bag of like 50 of them for AUD. YOU ARE TELLING ME, that a group of Heisters cant afford to get a surplus of Zip Ties and just have Hundreds of them on their persons?
Stealth is actually a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ option! No seriously, I did 2 heists maskless right up until my mate mucked up the ending getting bags to van and we had used our last pager already, We were on the God Seed and I was the perfect bait to get our last pager guard out of LOS of the Civs and he had no chance against a dude with a gun behind the door.
As I've said, all of the game has been overhauled. It feels SO much better than PayDay 2 after they nerfed all the fun tech like infinite ZTs and grabbing bags through the hanger walls in Firestarter.
Saved Seeds are amazing, Makes replaying a restart actually fun especially when you change your track and get more. Assuming you're going for a Mask off stealth everyone run.

There was also no promise of Safehouse customizations in Pre-orders that then got ♥♥♥♥ on by the dev team only to, years later finally release something about it that was god awful and then a massive overhaul on the safehouse anyway that I missed because I stopped playing years before and it felt wrong playing PD2 solo at that point outside of just, wandering around the old places.

The following is why its absolutely a negative review.

Always Online! That's right, the bane of all gamers everywhere who just wanna play a game with next to no internets absolute joy killer! I have had so many good runs die to server Disconnects, God seeds if you will, Hell we even had Brute forced codes for a vault door.

Then Almir comes in swinging his big heck you club around and the breeze from that moves a cable ever so slightly and blamo, you now don't get to play the game. All you end up doing is incentivizing Hackers to get good at hacking the game. IF VALVE cant stop them in CSGO, why do you think anyone else can? What about Activision, they're always doing bot nukes but here we are.

Always Online hurts games. Always. I have had 2 solo runs get nuked from a desync, that would never have happened if I wasn't always online, my internet connection is not the greatest sometimes and thats exactly what I want to happen mid mission, losing access to a fantastic seed because my internet decided to drop out for no reason.

Now on to the lesser but still important problems.

As a mask less, you have exactly 0 CC options, why can I not move a Zip Tied civ especially if I have no other eyes on me? Heisters always moved civs when they need to, masks be damned. Those are only there so they don't get ID'd and they're going to know the guy who looks exactly like I do except for a mask is still me. C'mon thats just shoddy work on Amirs and OKs part.
Super Duper AI seeing through walls and floors. had a civ run into the store, but not actually the store part they went into the alley, then underground to then look at a camera we shot out to then try call the cops. Got a bullet to the head for that one.
No mask less jumping, I can kind of get it, but I can right now jump while not wearing a mask especially mid heist.

Cameras are, Gods awful. No seriously, who decided the UI for them, THEN shot gunning their order into the rows, AND THEN deciding not to have a marker on those tiny little black boxes for any that had a runtime on them, like a blue one for instance since that's what color they are, and then a red one if someone marks one, THAT would make the game infinitely better in terms of stealth and just overall usability for hacker skill sets. Its actually god awful and whoever designed it has a special place in hell.

Now some tech fun:

Failure to restart heist, No seriously, we had an error and we both hit restart and it kept playing, we didn't get to restart and had to throw the entire run. Doors relocking, Seriously, we had a door we got the code for, I used said code and it relocked the door on me and I could not unlock it from the outside, only internally after that.
ONE Full System Crash with threats of full system wipe, both screens whited out and I could still hear the music in the background, But nothing else, When I restarted my computer, it failed to restart at all and needed a second one. THEN when it came back up online it was threatening a system restore or to continue start.

IS this game worth the current asking prices? I don't know on anything over base because they haven't released Season pass DLC at this time, Honestly though, Yeah its kinda worth the money but again, It has its problems, just look at the Reddit posts about "Rock the Cradle" that is rife with bugs, 2 of I ran into tonight when we spent like 5? hours running the same mission getting the VIP bug 2-3 times and the disapearing keycard at least once.

Ok, I have to amend the above part about price, its very much worth the cost for base game. Me and my above mate just spent the better part of an hour doing "No rest for the wicked" for "Color me surprised", It took like 5-10 minutes for the achievement to pop but it came up in the end. So yeah, the price is ok but its still a woeful negative.

NPC Heisters are a little spotty but not entirely useless since they can free you if you get got.

So far its better than PD2, but its still riddled with problems. So uh, Buyer Beware and all that.

Peace.

Holy hell this game is way better than I was expecting, Then again, Syndicate was a good game also so I shouldn't be surprised this came out as well as it did. Would recommend solely for the size of the world and the learning of the Order and what not.

So yeah, I've got about 300+ hours in GTA V. About 10-15 hours of it I want to say was put into the Campaign on my PS3 then my PC. I loved the Online in this game when I could play it, That didn't really last all that long though when I started up the connection was poor, like real poor, That got fixed somewhat at some point even with decent internet. Not that I really complained as I had substandard internet then.

The Story itself is fun, even if it is horridly underwhelming with the lack of content put into the Singleplayer once they worked out they could milk us for all our worth with Shark Cards online, Many things in the story were essentially left open, only like 5 Heists tops be the end to "Level up" our crews in the game.

The Online community at best was trash, You can't explore the map or do things like armored trucks without at least 8 people on a server, Same with all of the other random events, unless you can get a server of friends together, you're not gonna get to do much short of mill around doing the jobs that pay about $0*0, Things in the game are expensive as hell that need you to get a Party of 4 people together so you can do the Heists, YOU NEED Friends to play this game for anything fun.

The variety of vehicles is great as I said, BUT Again, you cant get all the features in the Singleplayer experience, Something I got relegated to after a Permanent Ban, I know how I got the Ban, Not going to argue it because the games really not worth the effort anymore, I have no friends to play it and the community still has a ♥♥♥♥ tonne of hackers that can strip you of your weapons for being a big enough problem for them, after they come at you in a car, they also have the means to mass flag you for a Nice and quick ban. Are all the people who get banned guilty? Not really, is the game worth getting unbanned on? hell no.

I just pray Red Dead Redemption 2 isn't as Cancer as this ended up being.

Rating: Literally don't buy this game if you don't own it, it's not worth it./10

This game, Man this game, I wanted it to be good, I really did, The Idea of 4 Netherghūl was interesting to me.

But the thats about it, the Minion controlling is Suckey at best, It doesn't play like an OverLord game should, I mean, you get thrown into a small but, get given all 4 minion types at the start, theres no wonderment from it. The Wacky humor isn't there because the minions constantly shout for Sheepsies, of which there are none.

Christ lets not forget about this Micro-Aggression of a ♥♥♥♥ stain: "I'm sorry ricket, I was totally minionsplaining there." - Gnarl 2015

This game is Worse than OverLord 2 NOT having the Battle arena DLC on steam.
And that Missing DLC was BIG for a few people.

I'd like to leave some form of review, but for that to happen, you kinda need to be able to play it without it screaming about some error every second after you close it.

Review MK1:
Simple game, goes somewhat quick early on, would probably keep playing since F2P.

Early Access Review
Offworld Trading Company is an Excessively fun game, A bit pricey at $40 for what it is, but Getting it cheaper is a Must.

first time playing can be hard but its easy to pick up on what to do and how to win.

Killing Floor.

Killing Floor offers players something that few survival horrors do, Or even Most First Person games.

And thats a pure murder everything gameplay, with a multitude of weapons for 7 classes (all with Special perks), You and your friends can have a really really good time if you all just want to sit around killing some ZEDs and having a great time.

The DLC weapons and Skins add in a touch of decency as the skins can help make differentiating people easier and the weapons are somewhat unique in stats.

This be a Real Time Waste of Time.

I usually like to play games not because I have to Pay to win them, Usually just to pay to play them for the few hours I would get from them.

I also am in a Group where the Dev got the Owner to Advertise the group and I have the Evidence on hand.
They even state that its against ToS to do that.

Make of that what you will.
