I still can’t believe this game came from such a small team. A composer found on SoundCloud, a writer discovered through a Reddit audition, and somehow they pulled off something this polished on their first try. It just shows how much raw talent is out there waiting for a chance. It’s a full on JRPG in the best way. Big, dramatic, a little over the top, but completely confident. The combat is addictive, the overworld is packed with things to do, and constantly adjusting your build keeps it fun the whole time. It doesn’t try to reinvent the genre, it just does it really, really well. I went in skeptical and ended up loving it. It’s easily one of the strongest JRPGs in years and it honestly feels like the kind of game people will look back on as something special.
