Form an “8” Shape: Take the working end and lay it over itself to make a figure-eight.
Start Wrapping: Begin coiling the working end around both the loop and standing part of the rope.
Make 5–8 Wraps: Continue wrapping tightly, ensuring the coils stay close together and even.
Thread Through the Top Loop: Once wrapping is complete, pass the working end through the small top loop.
Tighten: Pull firmly on the standing part while holding the lower loop. The wraps should cinch down neatly.
Adjust: The knot should now hold tight while still allowing loop size adjustment when needed.
