Oh boy, don't get me started... I know some people are super positive about this expansion, but I have to put a foot down and explain my piece.

Thinking that it was a no-brainer, I was hoping this DLC would be a masterpiece considering the hype Shadow of the Erdtree had before release and how much I enjoyed the base game as a whole.

Unfortunately, I was deceived to think FromSoftware would easily pull out another wonderful experience.

For the mere cost of 60$CAD (which was almost the price the whole game was sold for on release), I got to experience being a kid whose parents dropped at an empty daycare building, hoping I would keep myself busy with absolutely nothing while they come back.

Hugh mongous and vast terrain with sweet nothing in it. By that I mean no wowzies coming from the joy of battling the very few bosses scattered around the sandbox while the whole park is missing.

I know climate change is a thing, so I take my hat off to you FromSoftware. Recycling all those things in your game was a bold move for your die-hard fans.

While I had the luxury to fight with the same enemies from the base game, I had the joy to see that every hit I took, baja blasted my health to nothingness with the strength of a K2 Black Panther tank while I was fighting on a tricycle even with my endgame build.

As soon as I got to enter the boss areas, I knew my disappointment would be immeasurable and that my day would be ruined. I kid you not, 1st frame in, the bosses would run faster than a cheetah, grab me, fold me like a steel chair and proceed to get me closer to claim a refund. In a clear panic, I then proceeded to bring more men into the ring like a WWE cage match, but the bosses ended up bulking with roids, becoming the most wanted man in America and making mashed potatoes of all our sorry lives.

Aside from the alluring design that those few who you get to battle in this tomfoolery of an expansion, most of them trick you with simple and cheap gimmicks instead of having a decent fight style, unlike all the past memorable bosses we all remember from this franchise. No choreographies, just fireworks. Mesmer being the star of the show definitely ended up having the most love the mom had to give, while the rest of the toddlers had to reconsider their meaning in life.

Not to mention that this DLC has stuttering issues and fps drops even with a 5000$ rig.

Jokes aside, with approximately 70% of the DLC done (a little quick to my taste), with the manageable difficulty in this "amazing" campaign, I had to fight myself to finish this cashgrab and make my money's worth.

Addressing the elephant in the room, you might want to ask yourself: Is the DLC better than the base game? If not, then you might understand the gap that those two shares.

To be frank with your company and the whole community, I wasn't expecting this at all. What a sad experience. There must have been something wrong going on in the process of making this expansion.

Rating:
7.5/10. Stop sugar-coating it. It's not what most say it is. The first half of the dlc is pure deception while the second has most of the good stuff the dlc has to offer.

Definetly not my cup of tea.

Played solo and it's the most boring experience I ever had in a game.

I played enough of great game in my whole life and I already know what to expect when it comes to this type of game.

Better off playing a tower defence game at this point.

Don't make the same mistake I did.

This is a game.

In case you didn't know I had nothing else to say, play it yourself. Seriously. Or like, get friends, you decide.

To make it short and blunt without glazin'.

EA, I'm tired.

How are you still milking every penny from this title with greedy intents without thinking we don't see you pulling strings in the background?

Your game has been only going downhill and you never made things better, period.

Now that it's too late, the majority of the players are now hackers, smurfs and bots while all the other players left because of it.

Thanks for ruining it.

Amazing social game!
This game all started with gmod tower years ago and it kept it's vibe.
Please keep in mind that this game is in dev and still has very few issues.

Pros:
-Has very fun minigames such as; minigolf, lazertag, bowling, arcade (underconstruction atm), casino, theater, monkeyball-ish kind of game, virus, zombie survival, karting (on the way) and much more!
-Allows incredible amount of customisation as for the character or condos
-Has a hub where people can meet, play games, and chill
-Players can have multiple estates/condos
-Countless activities and challenges to do
-Workshop-friendly for props and models
-Very friendly community

Cons:
-Game is in dev, meaning that some things can be missing (such as already known minigames since this game is under construction)
-Needs more player
-Long process of development (can take a while before new content gets added)
-Isn't allowing any mature content such as explicit-grade videos like filthyfrank, iddubbzz and more.

*overall point of view*
This games is a mastepiece of its own ever since gmod tower and deserve more recognition.

This is by far one of my favorite games on my whole steam library.
Highly recommend this gem. Got me laughter for me and all my friends.
Would recommend this game at the office, to all my friends and to my family!
Best 8$ spent for real.
