Early Access Review
Day one, left successfully.
Day two, killed by a spider.
Day three, killed by my friends hubris.
10/10 would die again.

I know basically nothing about Hololive, but as far as Vampire Survivors-like games, this is the best iteration I've ever seen. The gameplay loop, items, and upgrade system feel top notch, especially when combined with the side content of the home area and the bonuses available through it. If this cost money, it would be worth it; as a free game, this is undeniably a 10/10.

The core gameplay loop is simple on the surface, while hiding a fairly complex system lurking underneath. Match unit types for buffs, buy multiples of a unit to level them up, and try to stay one step ahead of your opponents. Or...intentionally lose rounds until you're around 50 life, then cash out with all the money you've stockpiled along the way, going from zero to hero in a matter of seconds.

Honestly, this was a decent Battle Royale title when it first launched. However, in failing to keep up with the competition, PUBG Corp has decided that the appropriate action is to sue everyone who launches a title within the genre. This is completely unacceptable.

PUBG itself is poorly optimized, has not intoduced any content substantial enough to satiate the playerbase, and is slowly losing popularity. The proper response would have been to address player concerns by improving the game, and attempting to draw in new players (hopefully pulling them away from other Battle Royales).

Given the direction they took instead, I honestly cannot suggest buying this game. Developers who have taken similar actions have ultimately gone under, and ruined their titles. At this point, I can only expect that this will be the case for PUBG. I'd hate to see it become a dead game, but now it seems inevitable.

After 5 minutes: "I hate this game. The TTK is so low."
15 minutes: "I hate this game. The movement is so unintuitive."
30 minutes: "Maybe it's not their fault, and I'm just terrible at this game."
2 hours: "Okay, this is starting to be...fun."
4 hours: "This. This is my Mecca."

After you get past the learning curve (mostly existent due to a lack of useful tutourials), this is truly a fantastic FPS. Imagine a game of Tribes, surrounded by a game of Unreal, played by characters who could have been slated for the roster of Overwatch. It's fun and wickedly fast-paced, through and through. Sure, it'll probably take a while to master movement, and there's little forgiveness in the process, but the payoff is worth every salty second of practice. If you've been waiting years for a "different" FPS, this is finally the one.

Sure, it's early access, but everything available right now in Killing Floor 2 is highly polished and entirely satisfying. This is the definitive zombie killing game for PC. Nothing else comes close.

Can't launch any game modes. Only the menu is available at launch.

Note to developer: FINISH IT!!

10/10, still better than Bad Rats.

If you have a normal life, whatever you do, don't play this game. It is too good. You will lose contact with friends and family, be fired from your job, and your pets will die of starvation. When you finally break free from your computer, 6-8 months later, the life you had will no longer exist. However, if you don't have to worry about any of those burdens, then by all means, play Warframe. Just make sure you play with people who've logged many hours into the game. Unfortunately, Warframe doesn't cater to new players, so the starting curve is difficult and confusing. It is, however, stupidly rewarding once you know all of the tricks in the book.
