Now that they've fixed the servers and I've seen more of the game, I think it's time to give it the praise it deserves. Some equipment could use a little tweaking but its a deceptively rewarding game to play around with each weapon, strategem (ship call down item/bombardment/effect) that makes this classless coop shooter have a lot of longevity. I'm deeply impressed by how many different "hitbox" areas each enemy have that allow you to really feel like you are getting better when you know how shooting each enemy in different places affects it (kinda reminds me of Monster Hunter in that way, but for shooters). It's not just head shot or body shot on each enemy like a lot of shooters.

I'm usually deeply pessimistic about GaaS business model games, but this game respects your time and money so much I went and bought the super citizen pack just to support the devs. Usually these games are out to suck money right out of your wallet any way it can but being able to find the "paid currency" in game at very respectful rates was so refreshing it made me believe the business model could actually work. Incredible.

I can't wait to see how they expand the game and how Managed Democracy can be spread to more poor helpless worlds. Time to jump back in and deliver more liber-tea.

See you down there.

This has to be one of the most lovingly perfect mega-man spiritual successors I've ever played. I seldom am impressed by such awesome music and every mechanic just works and feels **GOOD**. It's got a mix of the Mega Man X and Zero in its DNA and I love it.

This has fixed everything I had trouble with Dark Souls and turned it in to a thrill ride of exploration and danger. One of my favorites of all time after just a week.

It performs well, it has tons of lore and awesome thematic choices, and its tense as hell even on standard difficulty. Really delivers the Aliens feel.

Has a lot of interesting twists on the historical 4x genre and runs really well, has intuitive UI and instructions, and rewards digging deeper. Well done.

Great Metroidvania style game. I never leave feeling unrewarded for some exploration or crafting or questing.

This game is an impressive example of what can be accomplished when you have big ideas but control for feature creep in development. They've set quite a stage with the to scale milky way, immersive physics, and interesting background simulator. Topped off with the cherries of dedicated and constant development, immersive in game writing that adapts to current events. It feels like a real galaxy. I still have yet to touch everything that can be done.

This is, hands down, one of my favorite strategy games, let alone 4x. Their commitment to providing free updates that vastly improve the game demonstrates their ideal that good games are always a work in process (while providing excellent original systems). I love how each iterative version increases your ability to control and customize the very playstyle and social concept of your empire. You really don't get that feel in almost any other game. And along the way, they are transparent about what feedback they've recieved, what their goals are, and what changes are coming. Kudos to these guys for a game that keeps me coming back more than any other 4x.
