I'm sorry, but how the hell can this be considered a full release?
I am one of the people who got this game during the early access phase. At the time, the game looked really good; especially the overall design of the world and characters which were very cute and likable. Unfortunately, I never got to play the game until now, and to say I am beyond bewildered is an understatement.

Piko Piko is absolutely not in a shape that can be considered a full fledged game. The story just keeps jumping forward without any meaningful transition or world building, keeping you questioning if you actually saw the events the characters are talking about. And the way characters talk to each other is also very inconsistent, as sometimes you see visual novel styled scenes with character portraits appearing on the screen, and sometimes you see speech bubbles that look like rough placeholders. The tutorial only covers the basic stuff and never gives you guidance on anything else. Like, what's the significance of the level up system? Or what the items you find in the wild actually do? I mean, I can see that I have unlocked an achievement called "Swoosh" after collecting an item, but what does it even mean?!
There's also the technical problems. The game is very quiet, and doesn't even have a slider to change the volume. You can only turn the music or sound effects on or off. There are also audio mixing issues, as collecting multiple coins at the same time causes the sound effects to stack on top of each other and become very loud. The controller support is also very abysmal, as the game struggles to register some of the buttons in some situations: Entering a door requires moving the analog stick upwards multiple times, moving the analog stick downwards does not respond in the shop, etc.
And that's not the end. As many other reviewers have stated, the game is very glitchy, to the point it actually takes no effort to glitch the game. For example, see a narrow passage you cannot get past? Just mash buttons to see your character noclipping through it. A ledge is too far up to access? simply double jump and use your hammer to see the main character clip through the terrain and appear on top of it. And these are some of the less harmful ones.

Piko Piko is a game that is unfinished, despite being called the full release. And it seems the people behind the game agree as well, because there's a post teasing the Piko Piko Remake right on the store page of this game. I do not know why they didn't just try to update the game we have here and moving the previous version into a different depot branch (for preservation purposes), and I will not try to judge their decisions regarding this game right now. But they better have thought about how they want to properly handle the release of the remake, as me and many other current owners of Piko Piko will be very critical about that.

TL;DR
Despite being labeled as the full release, the game still is unfinished and suffers from a wide variety of glitches and shortcomings. Wait for the teased remake to see if that ends up a better game.
