Late game has an INSTAGIB ALL GEAR/INVENTORY LOSS mechanic that is INSTANTENOUS and forced as a part of the core gameplay loop. You cannot react to it. You just get reset 10 hours.

After playing for 200 hours I really really dont enjoy the late game. Twice Ive gotten all of my gear destroyed instantaneously by this gigantic mountain sized worm (not the regular worm). It happened to me yesterday and I spent all yesterday getting regeared and it happens again. Theres no indicator. No warning. Its just INSTANTANEOUS DEATH. My screen blinked red once and I took two steps and I was dead both times. It took me like 6 hours to get that gear and then another 2 hours to get the mats the next time. And its just destroyed and theres nothing I couldve done. This is horrendous gameplay. If youre going to instagib me, give me my gear back broken, dont just take it away. Sure if I had spent 5-8 seconds too long and died sure thats my fault. I TOOK 2 STEPS AND INSTANTLY DIED. I dont know if your game mechanic is supposed to be working like this, but if it isnt, its clearly broken and ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT MECHANIC IN THE ENTIRE GAME AND YOU DONT HAVE IT WORKING CORRECTLY.

Old Positive Review:
This is a fun game. The end game grinding for resources can get pretty intense. You need to look up some guides to know youre collecting things correctly otherwise, you'll probably be doing things way harder than need be. Use the public maps to find resources too. Join a popular server and look it up, otherwise you might be playing alone, since the userbase is so small.

Update 4/07/2026
The game is even worse now where console users have an immense 1.5s bubble that protects them where you can go around walls and get hit a second and a half in the past. EA has completely abandoned the game. Revives still fail when trying to pick up people going on I dunno 3 months now. Tons of other bugs they still havent resolved. A tank round or an rpg round to a person's body doesnt knock them down in redsec, but you can still just smash your heli into buildings knocking them down suffering no damage.

Update 3/18/2026
The game will now record your mic input 24/7, so anything you say could potentially get your entire EA account banned even if you said it to yourself in your own house and didn't broadcast it to anyone, and if by chance someone randomly decided to troll report you for no reason whatsoever, an AI will scan the recorded log that was broadcasted to nobody, and still punish you with a FULL EA ACCOUNT BAN for a 1984 BIG Brother crime that never involved another human being. This has effectively ended all voicechat use in-game. I haven't gotten a ban, but I'm stopping using voice, because I don't want a full account ban for speaking in my own house nor do I want to play a competitive game without being able to speak to my teammates. As a youtuber, I've watched youtube's superior AI transcription program get tons of things wrong thinking things like simple breathing be mislabled as curse words. Depending on an inferior AI model to not ban you on some transcription you made is insane.

I say this as a Redsec BR player that has two BF6 achievements for BR that 0.6% and 0.7% of the community have.
These are the two rarest achievements other then the two that are 0% that nobody has because theyre astronomically AI generated impossible missions.

I also have my 75 Battle Royale wins badge and 5 wins in a row badge and a 40% winrate in duos with randoms.

Everyone leaves the battleroyale and griefs and is lvl 1 and refuses to use mics or does anything.
They ignore pings. They ignore me THROWING AN ORANGE TOP TIER GUN AT THEIR FACE.
Youre forced to play with console players that have literal aimbot that stickies on you so you get shot through smoke and objects without LOS.

In Redsec theres literally a WALLHACK that lasts 3 MINUTES against you that targets you and doesnt clear even if missions end.

If you take out the team that has it against you, you are rewarded with NOTHING.

Its just a punishment you get forced upon you if you are the topfragger. "Oooo but you get perk points." IM ALREADY MAXED FROM THE 15 GUYS I TOOK OUT ALREADY WHICH IS WHY IM THE ONE GETTING WALLHACK PUT ON ME.

Knife has over 17 bugs that ive counted for months now and posted them as issues and they havent fixed a single one of them.
Throwing knife is 1/3rd or like 1/7th of a person's health on body hit and can do less damage hitting limbs and has BLOOM.

The regular game is literally unplayable. Its like 25 tickrate.
The regular game is like playing a 600ping quake match on a dialup modem from Africa.
Everything is like 2000ms behind.
80% of my bullets dont even register.
Hitmarkers dont show up.
Its horrendous.
I skipped the last 4 battlefield games prior to this one and I won't buy another battlefield game.

Slime Rancher is a really cool and fun game. The slimes are really cute. The game is an adventure sandbox game where you encounter slimes in the wild and you can bring them back to your slime animal sanctuary, where you can farm them for their excess materials and send those back to your home planet in exchange for money that you can use to purchase equipment, buildings, and decorations for your zoo. This helps everyone back on your home planet and also helps the slimes on their planet by resolving various problems they are having and you get to rescue them from evil. Originally, I bought this game because I thought it was really cute and fun, and now I'm actually a partner with the game. Overall, its a very comfy game. Its not hard and its not easy either. The whole thing is just comfortably easy and relaxing to play, as you raise your little slime friends and go on an adventure exploring an alien planet.

Forcing me to play 2042 to unlock stuff for the new game gets automatic downvote
Leaving the game open doing afk servers while I slept and playing as a medic it took 148hrs to get the battlepass to lvl 60 to unlock everything.

This game is terrible on top of it.
tbh I kinda dont even want to play 6 now that ea has forced me to play this terrible game for so long

the only thing this game has going for it is the knife is slightly better than in battlefield 6.

As a 0.9% completionist player who 100% completed grounded on the highest Woah! difficulty and defeated the Infected Broodmother, and collected everything in game, I am extremely looking forward to playing Grounded 2. Grounded 1 was one of the best games I've ever played and I did it when I was gravely ill and it really helped me keep it all together. The Mise en scene of this franchise is absolutely fantastic.

Grounded is an amazing game. I 100%ed Grounded on Woah Difficulty. It means a lot to me because when I played, I had a lot of horrible medical issues and Grounded was one of the only games that was safe for me to play and the 150 hours I played in the first game was fantastic. Its one of the most difficult survival games on Woah difficulty and can scale even higher if you do the new game+. Its 4 player co-op and I'd recommend at least 2 players for 1 to be a tank and the other to focus DPS because otherwise you'll have to do everything yourself and gather everything yourself and that's a lot for just one person.

I know the game isn't completed yet, due to the sheer like quadrupling in size of the world from the first game, but thats perfectly okay for me. The timing right now for survival games is great. Pick this one up and you'll have a huge amount of stuff to do and in a few months/year, they'll finish the other areas and you'll basically get a 3rd grounded game for free and in the meantime, you can swap to grounded 1, while you wait for new areas to come out. There's also Dune Awakening, Rimworld has a new DLC, Once Human, V Rising, Valheim is getting its final chapter, Night of The Dead, and Kenshi is getting a sequel too. If you like any of these games or Grounded, you'll like the rest and be able to swap in between them as they finish Grounded 2, and if you've never played them, you're literally at the perfect moment right now to play their final updates or the completed games before their sequels come out. I've played a lot of these games for hundreds of hours and Grounded did not disappoint. Here's some videos to the games I mentioned and the most difficult boss in Grounded 1 if you're interested in checking them out. I'll update this more once I've played the game, but I have extremely high respect for the Grounded franchise.

My brother and I have been playing together and I'm on Nvidia and hes on AMD and I've crashed twice in ten hours and one time it actually duped my item which was pretty helpful and both times I just reloaded back in and like 45s later I was back exactly where I was when I crashed. He hasn't crashed. I saw a spider once that scared the bejesus out of me because it had glitched out and was flying across the sky for a bit but I thought that was kind of cool looking.The supplies for everything has been massively increased since the first game. But to counter this you have to eat and drink a lot more than in 1 at least on Woah Difficulty. Everything is a lot stronger than Grounded 1. Most things will 1 tap you especially if you dont have tier 2 armor on. Being able to use a rideable bug summon is really nice. I'm not quite sure having the bug die if it gets knocked down and its 40s timer runs out is the right design choice. I feel like having to heal it up back at base would be a better approach if the timer runs out. Losing it because Im facing a wolf spider and something else shows up and I get knocked out and the bug gets knocked out and I now have to go through all the effort of getting another and raising one has kind of make me hesitate in using it as much as I'd want too. Other than that, I think the game is running a real solid build of grounded 1 and building upon it. Thats honestly the only negatives I've encountered. Everything else is running really smoothly as expected. Maybe I feel like charge attacks could happen faster to make the combat feel more fluid but thats about it really so far.

We spent 2 hours turning literally everything off on my friend's modem, opening basically every port, connecting it directly to the router, allowing all permissions through antivirus, and we could not get strict NAT removed so that we could play co-op together and ultimately refunded the game.

Edit: With 8 minutes remaining in refund window my friend as a last resort tried to plug directly into his modem and bypassed the router and it worked. He is now vulnerable to all attacks. GET HIM.
