2K's constant striving for basketball perfection is....clearly a fruitless endeavour. I only play/buy sports games for one reason and one reason only. To co-op with my friends. Play together on a team, win together as a team and build a franchise from the ground up, you guessed it, as a team. 2K say NAY! You must play solo (in a team sport game?), or in online matches, and you must have microtransaction money to do/achieve ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!

Yes....such innovation. How very daring and original.

Top points: Functions as a simulation of basketball...there-abouts.

Lower Points: WTF do you mean I can't co-op a GM or Franchise or even a single season with my friends? What do you mean we can only co-op singular games that mean nothing and don't matter? What's the f***ing point in that then?! Also, the team up mechanic is terrible in the first place so let's not delve too deep into that gem of innovation in the industry.

Sports games get a bad rap quite alot and I'll admit, some of it is unfounded, but this game is just plain bad. Sure, the sport you're virtually playing sort of looks, feels and behaves like it would in real life, credit where it's due....In as much as, the ball is round-ish (maybe it depends on graphics settings?) and is orange (maybe that also depends on graphics settings, who knows?) But every other aspect of the game is isolation, wrapped in sadness, wrapped in microtransactions under the guise of progress.

This game takes me back many years and I can say, that without doubt the improvements make it a fantastic game now.

I loved playing this game and have told many others to buy it ASAP. Well done can't prise it enough thanks :)
