Played my first game online and played against someone with a phone number for stats, long range attacks and lag switching while i'm connected to a ethernet cable at 2500mbs. Looked at his account and he has a new steam account just for this game so when he gets banned he doesn't lose his main. This game is $49.99 BTW.

Early Access Review
I'm running a 40 series GPU and an Intel CPU, and from what I’ve heard—and experienced—the game doesn’t seem to play well with this setup. It crashes the second I launch it, every single time. I’ve kept all my drivers fully updated (I literally check daily), so I know that’s not the issue. I have to keep relaunching it until it finally decides to run, which is super frustrating—especially for a $40 game.

That said, once it does work, the game feels really immersive. You can tell this is meant to be a solid step forward in life sims. I’ve been playing these kinds of games since the Sims on the DS, and inZOI definitely has that charm.

First off, what an amazing team behind this game. They’re constantly pushing out updates left and right, and they're actually good. I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking to relax and watch people go to war, mess around in a sandbox, or even create a zombie apocalypse and see if they can survive. My only wish is for them to allow extremely large maps without having to rely on mods and to improve FPS during big playthroughs!

Aiming & Movement
The aiming feels off and the movement is way too slow and janky best example would be playing on a big TV after playing on a 144hz monitor. Considering movement is such a crucial aspect of FPS games next to aiming and shooting they definitely missed the mark here.

Characters & Progression
The characters seem interesting, and I get the idea they were going for. But the grind to unlock just one character feels unnecessarily tedious. As someone who will give any game a fair shot and try to enjoy it, this just felt frustrating and uninspired.

Maps & Gameplay
The maps are painfully bad and basic. If you’re thinking about flanking, good luck. You either run across the map making a ton of noise, or you go silent and take so long that you'll reach them two rounds later. The map design does nothing to support creative or tactical gameplay.

Comparisons & General Thoughts
This game isn't like Valorant at all, aside from the headshot mechanic. The overall experience is bland and lacking creativity. Also, the loading screen is terrible, adding another layer of frustration.

Marvel Rivers is a really well-made game and one of the first to come out with a pretty decent balance between all the characters, as long as you take the time to learn them. The ranked mode is also really well put together. Just make sure you’re playing with people you trust because, like in any ranked game, you’ll run into players who get upset the moment you suggest a different plan or idea and throw.

Its fun when it works but after fighting it crashes. I'm not sure what it is. please fix :)
edit: fixed. I'm not really sure what caused it but once I reinstalled, it fixed it. I have to say this game has become such a fun game to play with friends. I haven't gotten into a fighting game since the older UFC games but no game has really filled that gap but this game has. Yeah it isn't the most "serious" games but once you get a friend who is also competitive, you'll 100% be on the edge of your seat. Also it DOES work on a steam deck so if your like me an have one, it also is a fun game to play there. I'm not sure of there is a team behind this game but I just wanna say that you made a great game. I cant wait to see what else is in store. Money well spent.

has so much going for it yet is lacking so much too

- how come i get one tapped from a guy shooting at me a mile away with a uzi?
- how come i cant sneak around because the BOTS can see through walls an start spraying the second you get to close to a wall?
- how come when i equip suppressors, i shoot one round an the whole map looks an shoots at me?

this game has alot of flaws including fps problems. even on a 4090 NOW. I cant get good fps on maps with to much going on. the bots are terrible and need a whole overhaul considering it ruins the roleplay of it all. nothing screams real than laying on the floor in the pitch dark an getting spotted by a bot miles away.

Played 2k hrs on console and the fact i'm redoing it on PC really shows how good this game is, the grind may seem hard but when you know what your doing, it goes by pretty fast. Only down sides are the timers but thats the price you pay for it being free. 9/10
