Right now, the game is somewhat light on content, in terms of maps/job types, but is still very fun to play with friends. Playing with randoms isn't bad at all either, and in my experience matchmaking times have been non-existent too.
The game doesn't do a whole lot of explaining to brand new players, but the progression is straightforward enough and you will learn the mechanics within a few hours. I actually enjoyed discovering how everything worked for myself as I went along.
There's a decent amount of stuff to unlock (perks, gear, cosmetics) which gives you enough reason to want to keep playing, though the missions are quite repetitive.

The "Requisitions" (battle pass) work exactly like in Helldivers 2: you earn a currency (basically medals) by playing to choose what you want to unlock on a given page. You get access to the next page once you've spent enough medals.
There is no time limit/expiration on the requisitions and you can progress them simultaneously however you want.
The paid Requisition in the Deluxe Edition contains 100% cosmetic items.

If you liked the universe of Control and have two friends to play with, I would recommend it. Otherwise, this will be a great game to pick up during a sale in a few months after some updates have dropped.

This is peak Destiny.

Pretty busted as of right now, unfortunately.

-Re-mapping controls (on keyboard and mouse) is currently super clunky. You also cannot change the Y-axis inverted flight controls.
-Hosting your own multiplayer match caps everyone's fps to 29, for some reason.
-Options are pretty barebones, with very little in terms of graphical settings. FoV is just a bare slider with no numerical value. The brightness and contrast sliders also have no reference image, so you're just blindly moving sliders around until things look right.
-Audio is wonky, with some things being much louder than others, even when they're supposedly all set equal.

I really, really want this to be good but as of right now I just cannot recommend it in its current state. I will gladly update my review if the game is updated and fixed.

After 80+ hours, this is the most fun and addicting co-op game I've ever played, with no signs of slowing down. The devs are so awesome, involved and communicative as well. I cannot recommend this game enough!
