terrible game

as much as it pains me to admit, civ 6 may be better than civ 5. as time as progressed, the mechanics have slowly been adjusted and fixed. my only dislike is the new micro DLC model. the DLCs are usually bundled, and not too expensive, but it gets really annoying to find out what you have/don't after not touching the game for a year or so.

I don't normally write reviews for games, but this game is one that deserves that.

Coffee stain has designed a game in which they give you just enough information to get started, but after that it is left to you. I think that is that absolute beauty of the game. Do you want to beat the game as fast as possible by building huge platform factories? Go for it. Spend hours on one factory build? Go for it. It is all up to the player how they want to design and build their factories. The sandbox environment gives the player an infinite possibility of strategies to reach their end goals.

Truly, this is one of the only games I have played in a long time in which I can get lost in the time I've spent on it.
