I love the *concept* of Victoria 3. As a zoomer, i've had issues with Victoria 2, mainly the PAIN it was to set up multiplayer. I love the idea of this time period, and the vast economic simulation is something that's truly awesome.

However, I cannot reccomend Victoria 3 in its current state. I've crashed 6 times (1 crash every 2 hours, on average) while playing this game.

That's not even my major gripe. The game lacks flavour, in all senses. Since the AI is so lacking, any GP play (besides in multiplayer), is just a speedrun to #1. The war system is lacking, and the market system, while sometimes working as a real economy (I.E the british market), is dangerously broken otherwise.

Wait until theres more updates, or if this game goes 50% on sale.

This game improves on the last game in many different ways. Firstly, the game has been graphically overhauled immensely, and sent into space. Also, differnt stations and resource battlegrounds are now the key to making sure that a player cannot turtle up and repel all assaults.

Be warned however, that this game is an early access game, and is in VERY EARLY development, and therfore has the problems as such. This game lacks a proper tutorial, does not have all features fleshed out, and has a VERY steep learning curve. For people wishing to buy this game, I would suggest to buy it, and make sure you have friends to play with.

Playing with the AI in this game is like pitting a 6 year old against a Navy Seal in 1v1 hand on combat. The AI rushes tech so fast that you will ♥♥♥♥ yourself as soon as the first level 2 ships appear in your system within the first ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 10 minutes of the game. Oh, what do you mean that theres an unknown quantom point forming? Oh, Oh god

Things the game needs to improve on-
Firstly, pleas allow capital ships to be boarded. It would add another in depth element to robots and space combat.
Also, robots need to be overhauled with armor and etc., just like the first game. Currently the option is between shooty laser, shooty gun, or upgraded versions of both.
Finally, allow more boarding methods. Make drop pods, or something. The invasion mechanic is stale and boring.

This game has inspired me to get out more, to try to really feel nature.
In general this game offers a realistic survival experience Triple A devs could not even fathom to make.

If I could offer this game 10000/10, I would.

I spent over two hours crossing a river on normal difficulty. My troops got pushed back. The rest of my playtime is regained my foothold.

I really wanted to like this game. I really did, but i cant. Even after updates, the game is still ♥♥♥♥. When arma 3 is on sale you could get a better game for the same price. Or, just arma 2 dayz! For christ sakes, there are so many mods you could find a server for every need. I bet there is even a kkk roleplay were they lynch black zombies. Dont get until the tag "early access" is off. This game is more like a build before they realeased the engine. Hell! even vanilla arma 2 i better than this!
