What sets this game apart from TSW?

TSW has better Graphics
TSW allows you to get out and walk around the loco, and change points by hand.
TSW also allows you to explore stations & complete jobs.
TSW has Mastery & Journey which are both good, but both limited to only some DLC.

TS2020 Has WAY more content
TS2020 Locos are far more advanced, cold and dark starts for example.
TS2020 Has much longer routes than TSW.
TS2020 Allows 3rd Party developers to produce MUCH Higher Quality DLC's.
TS2020 Has better controller support (Raildriver).

BOTH games consistently deliver buggy, limited and overpriced content. I'd happily pay the price, if the quality and content was there! BUT it consistently is NOT there.

Despite all of the above, TS2020 is FULL of bugs and issues (out of memory errors) that have been highlighted and NEVER FIXED by DTG, so I can't even recommend it either.

TSW is becoming more and more like an arcade game, maybe because of the console ports?TS2020 will never likely be on console.

In all honesty, the ability to walk around in TSW is pretty under utilised & the lack of complexity combined with the really short routes on offer make TSW somewhat disappointing.

The graphics in TSW far outweigh those of TS2020 but what good is that if the route is over in just 20mins? (Most routes have seriously LOW Speed limits too).

Stations and surrounding scenery is getting better in TSW (East Coastway DLC) but we were PROMISED connecting routes that extend these short ones, and that has not happened.

Multiple Controller support.
Routes Longer than 60miles (CSX Heavy Haul - with each progressive DLC getting shorrter).
Editor (no sign of it for 2020 - Guess they want to Monopolise a bit longer?).
Multiplayer (never going to happen IMHO).
Steam Locomotives (like a carrot on a stick).
Connecting routes (to extend these seriously short ones).
