Still broken IMO.
The game wants to run a complex economy with import and exporting goods but I have no control over any of it.
Example; Building coal PP next to a coal mine. I want to sell surplus energy for money and tune down my production by 50% but for some reason I'm importing tons of coal that I don't need. Sending my town bankrupt as I have no actual control other than just not building a coal PP.
Just controlling an industry budget with a slide bar is also just as cheap.

This started off as feeling another middle-of-the-road Aliens game.
Then as the missions progress and you get further in the more this starts feeling like a winner.
From moving the ARC around to calling in dropships and shutting elevators off while in full scale retreat while watching a trusted marine get dragged off to the hive gives you the feeling it exactly should.

FTLs better looking and harder to get sister

One of the few remade childhood classics which didn't disappoint, for once.
Still lots of fun and game play's a hoot. Little lacking in the multiplayer availability but still fun enough single player.
Camera is a little dicky so you'll need to play around with it.

Previous titles were a let down. This game begins to fill the void and return the series to how it is supposed to feel.
Alien was never meant to support the bugspray, COD style of games. As they said in the movie "it only takes one of the suckers to get in" which is exactly what this game does.
While this game doesn't give you the full on reminder of being trapped onboard with an Alien; You feel there is hope... Until you see it. Now all I want is the SMART gun back.

The sound effects of walking around and listening to you shoes scrape isn't the only thing that makes you feel the ambiance but its the overall movement and feel for the environment which you pick up within the first 10 mins of gameplay. Crawling under a table is seamless, thank christ.

The only time I feel safe in this game is waiting 10 seconds after the save console gives a whirling "Buzz-BoopTickTickTick" and a feeling hits where you say "its gona be ok" and venture on for the next few minutes of seat edge sitting stuff.
Well done. My faith in this story line is restored.

Solid game.
Its not an RTS, Role Playing, FPS... what ever. Its about managing a ship, jumping like rabbits through space. Managing what you do when people board your ship, **** your wife while your engine room catches fire.

There should be some more caos management games like this.

Can't wait for the free DLC coming soon, too.
