Those who've repented and put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior, 1st and foremost get yourself a Bible. The Bible is the living Word of God. To know God, is to know His Word. I advise to begin with the New Testament. The OT explains the why (why there is evil & sin, why we are alienated from God etc), the NT shows the how (how we can be saved, how we BECOME children of God etc). BOTH are important. You cannot focus on one part while ignoring the rest. Both are necessary to know the full counsel and character of our unchanging holy God.

I recommend finding a Biblically sound church near you or if you can't, online. (May wait with the online part until you're grounded in Scripture, for there are MANY false teachers). Avoid preachers/influencers who bring destructive heresies or claim to have discovered "secret revelations". Biblical sound doctrines include topics of sin, repentance & hell. Preachers who ignore or minimize these topics and focus on self, "positive vibes", or seem hyper charismatic/hyper grace, I'd suggest to avoid as well (See 2 Tim 4:3-4; Gal 1:6-10).

Infiltration is part of the deception (Matt 13:24-30; Jude 1:4). False converts infiltrate to blend the kingdom of darkness with the kingdom of light enticing unsteady souls and lead them astray. This global deception plays a big role in the end times. Churches deal with infiltration, but also (online) Christian Communities. Just because someone claims to be a Christian or posts random Bible verses, doesn't make them a Christian. Even satan(ists) know and twist Scripture (See: Gen 3; Luke 4:5-13). In Luke we see Jesus correcting satan by quoting Scripture back. Jesus said to be wise as serpents. We're to test the spirits and the fruits (Matt 7:15-23; 10:16; 1 John 4:1-6). Using discernment is every Christian's responsibility (Heb 5:11-14). If we abide in God's Word, we'll be able to test anything to His Word:

Salvation is a work of God (1 Cor 1:30; Eph 2:8-10). comes with great responsibilities. One is to spread the Gospel and to stand firm in God's Word. Not everyone who claims to be a Christian , is in fact a Christian. There are many who believe & spread a false gospel or a watered down gospel, which is no gospel at all. There are many who embrace unbiblical doctrines and follow a false christ who has no power to save. To know God is to know His Word, so you'll be able to test anything to it and be able to spot, correct & rebuke false teachings and false teachers . People fall for false doctrines because they don't read the Bible or just cherry pick Bible verses. Before I got saved, I thought I was a Christian. In reality, I was a New Ager. In the New Age I was taught that there's no such thing as sin , that all roads lead to God, to encourage people onto all kinds of paths ('do what thou wilt'), which leads away from the narrow path Jesus Christ spoke about. I neglected reading the Bible. I followed a false christ and embraced doctrines of demons. Meanwhile, in my arrogance and ignorance, I would call Biblical Christians "spiritually undeveloped and misinformed". The Bible warns us to hold fast to sound doctrine , to not take away from or add to Scripture, and not having our ears tickled by following the patterns of the world and our deceitful heart with its sinful desires. God's Word is part of the full armor of God which we need to be able to stand firm against satan's schemes . ~Ephesians 6:10-18; Acts 2:38; Romans 8:2~

I always feel best when I'm not on the internet and just abiding in the real world for a long period of time. I think that is because real life is God's design and the virtual world satan's copy to keep us in a hamster wheel of distraction. Internet isn't a bright place.

Everyone is so addicted to the virtual world nowadays. Often I see people outside walking their dogs, or being with their kids, all with their heads down.. being on their phones.. zombies who are blind to what happens around them.

The entire world has been fooled in believing that the internet helps us to connect with everyone, to always be up to date about what is going on, while at the same time we have been more disconnected from each other and from reality than ever before.

Lately I been thinking, how does pagan worship look like? Often it will involve bowing heads down to the object of worship. Suddenly it clicked for me. Slaves to the system. Slaves of satan.

Jesus wasn't persecuted and crucified for being a "nice" guy. People were angry for what He had to say. He overturned tables. Christ preached repentance, not affirmation. He didn’t hang with sinners hugging and patting them on the back while they continued in rebellion. He told them to “go and sin no more”. And they repented!

Christianity today won't stand up for Biblical truths. Instead they want to be friends with the world even though that means enmity with God. Modern day christianity has become all about "Judge not!" while Jesus said to “Judge with righteous judgment.”

Jesus didn't came to bring peace, but division. He explained what it means to follow Him daily. Christianity isn’t about self-help. It’s about self-denial and total surrender to Christ. Jesus Christ is not a life coach. He is Lord and Savior.

Love isn't tolerance. Love warns and speaks God's truth. That truth offends. It divides. It’s not self-righteous to speak truth boldly. It’s Christ-like.

Sadly, public groups as the CGC are infiltrated by Theistic Satanists who portray themselves as Christians, subtly twisting Scripture in order to entice unsteady souls after them, while introducing them to explicit materials and demonic doctrines.

Since they continually are given opportunity to keep doing so, without clear rebuke, often even with encouragement, I cannot endorse such groups for Christian fellowship, nor to gain sound doctrine, and hereby state my warning.

Darkness and light cannot blend. Paul had firm words to those who tolerate corruption and immorality in the body of Christ only to make it appear to the outside world how "loving" and "tolerant" they are. The proper response is not to boast but to mourn. Jesus also gave firm warnings in Revelation to the churches about these matters.

Be very cautious when it comes to the internet. You never know who is on the other end of the screen. Don't let the virtual world be a substitute for the real world, God's design.

Many love getting their theology from books about the Bible rather than Scripture itself, with all consequences. Those who embrace philosophy over sound doctrine set themselves up for trouble, since God has made foolish the wisdom of the world.

You can read the entire Bible with any PhD and still come not to the understanding about the things of God. The natural personal is hostile to the things of God. His Sheep are given the Holy Spirit who opens our eyes to understand the things of God (Luke 24:45-48; John 14:26). No one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God (1 Cor 2:11).

If we love Him we keep His commandments. How do we know about ALL His commandments and the entire counsel of God (Acts 20:26-31)? It is written.

Instead of always being drawn by something "fascinating", every wind of doctrine, we as God's children go to the pure instructions of our Father. His Word is sufficient & stands forever. It does not care about opinions.

God says it, that settles it.

When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by satan, who twisted Scripture to try to deceive Jesus, Jesus replied by quoting Scripture back (Matthew 4:1-11).

How much more will satan try to deceive self professing Christians who do not abide in God's Word and therefore miss the crucial part of the full armor of God. If we do not know His Word, we can also not know if we follow the God of Scripture and not a god made in our own image, and we cannot detect and protect ourselves against falsehood and deception from satan and his minions.

It is easy to detect deceivers. satan and his minions will always downplay God's Word and steer us away from God's Word, by letting us believe we can lean on our own understanding, instead of relying on the wisdom of God, as satan also did in the garden.

It all started with one question: “Did God REALLY say?” How do we know if God really said it? By knowing His Word. His Word is both a necessity AND a treasure to those who love Him.
