My internet is perfectly fine, I can assure you of that. The issue lies within the fact that Dark Souls 3 uses a Peer-To-Peer Connection for PvP. There are no dedicated servers your playing on. Take yourself and myself as an example: I have to connect to your computer situated in Japan from the European region in order to invade you. I could state the same argument that you should have your internet checked. However, the latency most likely is a cause of the distance between us and the fact that our respective internet connections host the PvP session. For the same reason players from the European region usually show a lower latency for me.
