Review: Sniper Elite 4
  • Graphics / Audio:
Sniper Elite 4 was released in 2017 and it definetely looks great. It takes place in Italy around 1940. Maps look a lot more detailed, alive and crowded when compared to the previous entry Sniper Elite 3. I really have to applaud the studio for their amazing work on the Maps as all of them look extremely detailed with decent accuracy for the timeline. Character models did not get that big of an improvment but they added a lot more cutscenes. Audio is pretty okay as it is almost identical to Sniper Elite 3. Other than that you will get one of the best looking games here.

  • Gameplay:
As far as the Gameplay goes you will not see any major changes as it is your classical Sniper Elite experience with Semi-Open World Maps and several of them ofcourse focused on Stealth Sniper takedowns. Simply said a sandbox sniper game.
When compared to Sniper Elite 3 they improved some of the stealth elements, you can now hide in bushes and break more random objects. Costumization got improved too as you can change scopes, attachtments etc. And lastly you got a lot more weapons available including a skill tree for every weapon.

  • Story:
There will be no Spoilers, or not any major ones atleast.
If you're looking for a traditional WW2 one man Story this is the perfect game for you as they have improved decently when compared to Sniper Elite 3 story wise. Better cutscenes, better and more memorable characters, deeper story and a better ending. This isn't an amazing story but it definetely isn't a dissapointment at all. What i liked a lot is that the game sometimes shows the pain and cruel things that happened in WW2 , the intro loading scenes are pretty nice too.

  • Performance :
It runs easily on Max Setting 1080p above 60fps on High End PC ( Intel i7 4790k & GTX1070 )
    Runs above 60fps (~) 1080p on Mid Range PCs on Medium/High settings ( AMD FX-6300 & GTX 760 )
Doesn't run on Low End machines.
I had no crashes or major bugs in 12 hours of gameplay.

  • Multiplayer :
Multiplayer is alive for a game of this genre but i still consider Co-oP as the ultimate mode as far as Online goes.

  • Price :
The Game will probably get cheap fast just like Sniper Elite 3 which is good for us.
Even for the normal price i would recommend it.

  • DLC :

Lots of DLCs and most of them are a little overpriced but i have to say that some of them are worth it.

Recommended if you're the only one that can save the Sizilians.

This game is still overpriced at $17.99. This is a 4 hour game without dlc crap. Until the game drops to a recommended $4.99 I would say wait even more.
