So, what to say about Undertale...
First I should probably state that I have around 100 hours in the game (despite what Steam says, I play a DRM-Free Version of the game for faster loading times).

Is It Enjoyable?
Personally, I heavily enjoy Undertale but it's definitely not a game for everyone, In my opinion I feel that the moment someone finds out they'll enjoy Undertale is after finishing the first section of the game, the "Ruins" which is actually where the game's demo ends, so If you're conflicted on buying the game, the demo should help you make a decision on whether you'll enjoy the game. I believe this because as the game states, it's the RPG where no one has to die, If the player is attached enough to the first boss, they will try to find a way to spare the first boss or they will kill the first boss and feel guilty. If the player is invested then Undertale is probably for you. If not and you feel like you'll kill whatever you want for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles or whatnot then the game probably won't hook you because making a decision to kill or not to kill plays a big part in Undertale's narrative.

What's the Game Like?
Undertale is a game that's main attraction is the story, If I told you about it though, that would be spoiling the game, so you're just gonna have to take my word for it. Seriously, to quote TotalBiscuit "To explain exactly why Undertale is truly special would require spoiling the experience, so I urge you to look past the hype and just play it yourself."
The gameplay however, while it doesn't compare to the story is pretty decent. The fights with monsters are pretty creative and while the FIGHT mechanic is pretty simple, the ACT mechanic encourages you to evaluate the monster's personality and find a way to make them stop fighting you. Although, most monster's will try to attack you, in this event instead of a classic RPG where it's just RNG based attacks, there is a level of skill added to it. The combat system is a turn-based bullet hell and while I understand this may be hit and miss for some people, I personally enjoyed it.

Anything Else?
Yes, the soundtrack is utterly amazing. Even people who don't like the game have exclaimed their love for Undertale's soundtrack. The use of so many different arrangements and instruments fit so well in with the game and also have an enjoyable listening experience outside of the game. Not to mention that such an amazing soundtrack, was made entirely in FL Studio by one person, Toby Fox (The developer of Undertale).
One more thing to know is that this game was made almost entirely by two people, Toby Fox and Temmie Chang, Toby developed most of the game and made the soundtrack while also creating a few of the character's artwork in MS Paint. While Temmie made other characters with GraphicsGale. There were a few other artists who worked on the game, but there contributions were not as big as Toby and Temmie's.

Conclusion
If you do end up liking the game based on the demo, then get ready for a tear-inducing and touching game.

Final Verdict
I'd give Undertale a 8/10, It's a game that's most definitely worth it's ten dollar price tag.
