I've been flabbergasted by how well built and fleshed out this game is. The amount of museum types you can make, expeditions you can go on, and exhibits you can find is way more than I anticipated. There's a lot of moving pieces to each museum with each museum type adding some new mechanic or specialty. The difficulty also increases gradually but never so much it feels like a hard road block. The amount of fine tuning you can do for your museum is fairly in depth but never overwhelming. I'm only around 20 hours in and all I have been doing is the career mode and I still feel like I've only scratched the surface so far but don't feel fatigued or burnt out.

Truly a marvel of a sim game! Price point looks high but honestly is well worth it. If you're a fan of sim games in general you'll find something to love here. Plus it works flawlessly on steam deck or controller!

Very cute yet somber at times. Fantastic game play that has fluid movement and attacks. Difficulty for doing just the story is easy - moderate with some optional challenges that are fairly... well, challenging. Puzzles were unique but not complex, all of it felt super doable. Did not expect to love this game as much as I did. I ended up 100%ing it. I enjoyed exploring it and was compelled by the cute characters and bittersweet setting.

I only have 2 gripes.

1) The map UI was not very user friendly. Putting down markers always had them way off from where my cursor was. When I would zoom out and scroll to get to further parts of the map to teleport to, when I zoomed back in my cursor would be nowhere near where it was originally. Felt really off. Could definitely use some improvement. (Played using a controller as the game recommended)

2) Some items were hidden due to invisible platforms. It does not feel rewarding back traveling to find out I missed an upgrade all because I didn't know there was an invisible platform. There's an upgrade you can get to make them visible, but that doesn't lessen the impact of feeling disappointed in having missed them while exploring. Feels kinda cheap.

Solid 9.5/10 game! If above issues were addressed I'd make it a perfect 10/10. Would recommend at the $20 price.

When I first saw that there was a new Prince of Persia game releasing after 14 or so years since a last major installment in the series, and made by ubisoft, I was incredibly skeptical. I enjoyed Prince of Persia a lot as a kid but I tried going back and playing them as an adult and found they were pretty easy and rather one dimensional. But I saw this time they made it into a Metroidvania and I couldn't help myself from trying it out. And by god, it's really really good. Fluid movement, fun combat, beautiful/expansive maps, difficult but also optional puzzles, engaging bosses, all make for a very fun game. $40 is a lot to ask for this game, but if you're a fan of Metroidvanias its worth it. If you're still on the fence wait for a sale, I'd easily pay $25-30 for this game.

I originally bought this game on my switch and played the living hell out of it. *Pun intended*. So much so I bought all the DLC and obtained everything within it. Now Im gonna do it again. It's a fun!

I bought this game and immediately had a gut feeling I would just end up refunding it. It doesn't give off the best impression but looked fun enough. As you can see that is not what happened.

This game is incredibly fun in its own right. It can be a bit of slog here and there, but the fights are engaging and dynamic by fiddling with passives and abilities. As well as seeing your own mercenaries grow alongside each other as you progress through different lands, encountering new challenges, and learning professions. I always feel like around every corner is the potential of finding something that shifts the way my mercenary functions, adding in new elements into combat/crafting/exploring.

If you're a fan of tactical role-playing games, I would definitely recommend giving Wartales a shot. Playing on Dynamic world and experienced difficulty has given me plenty of challenge without being overwhelming. I dont know if its worth it at the base price point of $35, but if you find it at 10-20% off I would say thats fair.

Early Access Review
I bought this game on an impulse, not really expecting it to amount to much. I'm currently close to 50 hours in, 47 of which have been in the past week.

I didn't expect to love this game as much as I do, but here I am. I love the base building knowing you could be raided at any second, exploring while running the risk of not just losing your gear but your hard earned skills, and getting better at fighting not just by rapidly left clicking but trying to time a parry to unleash a brutal counter attack. There's a lot to enjoy in this game that sets it apart from another run of the mill open world survival game. I'd list em here but honestly you should pick up the game and find out for yourself. At a price point of $20 that goes right into the hands of this indie developer who shows no signs of stopping development with a clear vision of what this game is going to be, this game is definitely worth it.

Over the past few years i haven't had much fun with roguelikes, they don't grab my attention for more than a handful of hours and I only do a couple of runs with them. However, Hades keeps my attention hooked for hours on end. From the visual art style, to the intriguing characters and story, to the action packed gameplay. Its a breath of fresh air into a genre that feels like it's gotten stale.

Its minecraft mixed with Dragonquest, a mix I did not ever think would be fun but hot damn I enjoy it a lot. I played for around 60 hours on my switch copy and loved every minute of it. The reason I decided to try out the PC version is because the switch had a lot of difficulty running it at 30 fps maximum. Seeing it on PC looks amazing, it makes the islands you're on feel like a place you want to explore!

This game is insane. Fun and hard at the same time, while making you feel like a badass for jumping from truck to truck.
