This game is extremely fun. I really felt immersed in the LOTR universe and it felt very alive. Its very very grindy. you will be MINNING ALOT but hey your character sings a cool tune when you mine. The combat was fine, dodging is a must to help prolong armor. Dying isn't that taxing, you just have to go get your body and reclaim all your gear. I just made extra sets of gear in case this happened. SAVE EVERY SINGLE BLACK DIAMOND! HOARD LITERALLY EVERYTHING. You don't need to make a base every time you find a new area. Id say pick one spot you like and just use the way stone to travel. Also use lanterns as markers to find your way back. You can get lost....

BASE BUILDING:
6/10 you very basic like most survival games. Some decorations. Cooking station, forge, furnace, workbench, enchanter, loom.

COMBAT:
7/10 I didnt hate it and it wasnt really hard to fight the orcs. The bosses a little but yes but if you doge correctly and block you will be fine. Also if you make cheese or find lembas bread that will heal you when you eat it during fights. Also drink the right ale and eating the right food will help as well.

STORY:
8/10 Your basic you need to find your way out to get help BUT its LOTR :) Lots or lore packed in!! Was fun seeing Moria come to life.



ONE BUG:
I have encounter one bug and its pretty annoying. You will see your mouse come on screen and it starts to stutter my frames really bad. Nothing seemed to fix it and its a known bug. I just alt tab a bunch until it goes away.

This game was hard to play when it first came out so my sister and I stopped playing but we just came back and boy they changed a lot (we did have to start all over again) but WE HAD SO MUCH fun! So much fun I paid for a server so she can play when Im not on. Its worth it.

YES

For being in alpha and only 30 dollars Id say its so worth. There is so much to do for being what it is. The AI is poor but i can look past it since there are a lot of pros. With later quality of life updates this game can be A tier for sure. I got it to play with my sister but we ended up playing on our own and it feels challenging that I sometimes have her help with town liberation. I like that you can turn raids on or off. The building system is a bit tedious and can get annoying but you can have your villagers do it. I like it and feel that is so worth the current price of 30 dollars. I will continue to play and cant wait for future updates .

Very fun and relaxing

its fun but trash, cant even finish ONE game without Uplay servers crashing every turn. Can i get my money back, spent 2 hours in a game that i couldnt even play my turn. Cant even connect with friends, like this could be loads of fun if it would load correctly. How does ubi soft F** up this bad on a board game..
