Glad I got to play Suzerain all over again!

Think it's time to review it now that I have some playtime. Based on how fun the game is, this game is better than any action RPG of its type so far so it's definitely worth picking. That is, if you can actually run it (the performance is abysmal in cities, and if you follow main story quests it is probably over half of your playtime early game. This does not count issues I have encountered running it through Proton and the added kicker of Denuvo on a singleplayer game). Combat is amazing and everything I hoped for after playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. It just needs, as almost always with big titles, time for optimization which is something that I feel should not be an afterthought and am fairly disappointed with.

Slow start at first, but fun once you have to make critical decisions to get the commuters where they need to go.

Very fun fighting game!

It is a really fun fighting game especially with the implementation of rollback based netcode and having a few friends that are around your skill level.

Looking forward to the release of Strive at the time of writing.

It is okay for Solasta to be true to 5e but that is about as much praise that I would give it. There is a lack of personality that makes the game feel quite boring after a while even if you spend some time creating your characters. There are some issues I have with the visuals of the game but I can at least appreciate the UI. This game might be good if you are really wanting to experience a new game that uses a D&D ruleset (seems like most people do) but I do not think this is for me.

The story is interesting and your decisions have consequences in game.
A lot of political shenanigans and intrigue that mirror what it would be like in such a precarious position gets a recommendation from me if you are interested in this sort of stuff.
