Fun, cute platformer. Love the pixel art!

Fun short dark souls like metroidvania style game. Solid 8/10. Only big complaint is that I felt the dark souls like elements detracted from the game a bit, but because the game is on the shorter side it wasn't too bad.

Absolutely amazing game! Definitely top 10 game of all time for me. Really enjoy the card game aspect of it and all the extra stuff that goes on in the game. Super interesting lore, and the art for this game is amazing.

This game has potential, but needs some improvements. Can't fully recommend it just yet, but once some updates have been made I would be glad to update this review. There are definitely some good games in here. How to play's need to be updated to be more clear on what you are doing. Every game felt like the first round was learning. More so for those where a group of people are doing something different from the rest. There also seems to be an issue with the games being dropped. Couldn't play phonanigans with 8 people. Kept dropping the entire lobby half way through. Drawing games seem more prone to the entire lobby being dropped and a new room needing to be made. Didn't have any issues with the text games. Really enjoy the music. Like being able to change tracks, and having the ability to kick out people. The game needs some bug fixes and a bit of polish but I think could be a worth while addition to games you can play with friends online when it gets them.

Great, fun little game. Nice lite metroidvania game with tons of backtracking. Provides a fair amount of challenge without being overly difficult. Highly recommend.

Fun little game. Would recommend playing. My only complaints with the game is some spawn points in some levels could be better and not immediately put you at risk of getting hit or being knocked off a platform, and could use a clear indicator that you lose the shotgun when hit.

I really enjoyed this game.

The artwork is beautiful. I thought the voice acting a story were really good, and that

the controls were solid. The game is on the short side, however, this didn't factor in at all

with my enjoyment of the game. I felt captivated the entire game, and played through the entire game

for the first time in one go. I highly recommend this game to others.

TL;DR
If you are wanting a game that is exactly like the classic Megaman or Megaman X/Zero games, this game isn't for you.
If you are looking for a Megaman like game that has its own spin on how to play, I would recommend checking this game out.

Pros:
Megaman style: beat the boss of each level without losing all your levels otherwise restart the level, get weapons from bosses, bosses are week against another boss's weapon
Good controls
Good graphics (although they are rather cartoon like, but are well made in that style)
Dashing mechanic is fun
Bosses are good
Weapons are good (although I ended up only using my top 3 favorite weapons, and only switched to use the others when they were needed)
When a boss is beaten, that boss will help out in the stage where his/her weapon is effective against the boss
Call level is fun and different change of pace compared to Beck
Ray DLC is fun and provides a different game style compared to Beck and Call
Good story
Decent voice overs

Cons:
No invincibility frames: you can get hit by an enemy, pushed back into spikes and instantly die
Overuse of instant death spikes/electrical traps, makes some stages harder without being more creative about the level
Retro Hero DLC only shows in Maniac mode, should be an option to switch to it, regardless of mode
One Hit KO for maniac mode, is too difficult imo. Health items are useless in this mode
Only one Call level. Would have been cool to have a couple more stages for her.
Floating enemies are hard to hit with Becks normal weapon, since they are either just out of range of jumping to hit

My Thoughts
I really enjoyed playing this game. It was fun playing a game in the style of Megaman but with the added mechanic of needing to dash into enemies to get points and bonuses. Each level I thought was fun to play, although some levels could have been a little better designed. The bosses were fun to fight against, and the weapons were all fun to use. However, I quickly only starting using a couple of the boss weapons because some of the boss weapons are only really good in certain situations that didn't come up very often. I would consider this game a good game, but nothing more than good due to the Cons list.

I recommend buying this game if you are interested in a Megaman like game with its own mechanic of how to play.

If a sequel for this game comes out, I hope the developers take into consideration of my Cons list, because I feel like that would have made this game a great game, instead of just a good game.

This game is ok. It is very hard to do some really cool things that the game shows. I didn't find this game fun, but I do recommend that people do try it since it is a free game, but you have to pay for things from the shop for your character.

I bought this game, and everything seemed to work, but I can not rename any of the worms, or name my clan without the gamecrashing on me. This rather defeats the purpose of getting to customize your own game when you are unable to. I have tried fixing the problem, reinstalling, changing game permissions, but nothing has worked. I tried emailing support and after a huge delay they emailed me back saying they would need to check if this was a problem in the actual game, and I have heard nothing since. It has been at least 2 months with no reply.

I haven't played online, but from what I have seen there are issues with connecting with other players, if you find a match.

For the story, I find the narrator annoying, certain levels are quite unfair. Sometimes what you are suppose to do is not quite clear to solve puzzles. If I play for too long the game crashes. usually if I play more than an hour.

This is my first and last game I will be getting from Team17.

I have a Mac, so my recommendation to those who have a Mac and want to play a worms game is to either get it from the App store or get an older version of worms.
