It's really fun. Be sure to check out the discord group for lobbies & invites. It's got a small community but it's fun. Huge plus if you have group of friends.

Not an upgrade.

A fitting end to a legendary trilogy.

10/10. The best game in the whole trilogy. This is not just nostalgia talking, the game holds the test of time.

This game is called a 'flawed masterpiece' by many and it's pretty accurate. The game truly shines because of its atmosphere. The music is also nice. The characters are quite good and fun to interact with. The combat could've been better but its a 2004 game, cant really complain. With the unofficial patch and some graphics mods, I would give it 8/10.

While the gun play is fun and the story seems interesting, the game is marred by absolute ♥♥♥♥ game design.

You have to do several mundane things to achieve what you want to do, which adds up and consumes a lot of time. Unskippable cutscenes for very small things which add no value to the story and annoying fast travel system are some of the examples. Outdated and annoying checkpoint system. All of this in an open world which is completely empty.

The missions also become similar as time passes on.

Game should've been a linear one.

It's just another Japanese game with no respect for people's time.

It's a good game. Game mechanics wise, it improves a lot over REmake 2.

Though the game feels a bit short, but it's fun. Nemesis was more terrifying than Mr.X, but hardly had any chase moments like Mr.X. Feels like a waste. I haven't played the original, but it sucks that a lot of things were cut in this remake. The game is good as it is, and it would've been even better if that content was included. Unfortunate.

It's a fun game, but leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know why they couldn't write a more coherent story, which involved different locations for each characters, joining in the middle at different parts of both Leon and Claire's story. This was already done pretty well in Resident Evil 6. Disappointing.

Gameplay mechanic wise, it's also not polished compared to other horror games, take Dead space for example, shooting enemies at different specific parts of the body kills them quick. No such thing here. 7 bullets to the head to kill a zombie on normal mode, sometimes they don't completely die from this too. Shooting at other parts only makes them slow. Such limited ammo in the game, rudimentary melee, and no dodge system does not justify this game design.

On the plus side, beautiful game and sound design. Mr. X was also fun.
