You wanna play with bots? Wanna play consecutively with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ team mates WHEN the game actually lets play with actual people? Congrats! this game is for you.

I have never seen a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, more incompetent matchmaking then this game, and I used to be a COD and Warzone player. I played this game before the season one update dropped, and I held on hoping they'd fix some of this stuff (Lighting for example, can't see anything and desync among other things) but they didn't fix anything, except slightly improved lighting.

All matches are filled with bots, 90% of the matches that I joined are near the end which I'm also on the losing team, the amount of times the weapons feels like I'm shooting a pea shooter is insane, and sometime I can take people out 100+ meters away with an SMG, dying behind cover almost every time I hide behind cover, don't feel any hit only for all bullets to connect simultaneously where it feels like a shotgun.

THE MAPS, ONLY two maps are good, not great, they hold nothing against older BF maps, and the other maps are basically COD ground war maps, more then half of them don't work with most game modes like rush and breakthrough, which basically makes the attacking team become fish in a barrel and no way to win. Nothing innovative, nothing remarkable nothing memorable.

Classes are ruined, Recon irrelevant, Assault useless (Except for the spawn point gadget which was for recon) only Engineer and Support are useful in this game.

Better save your money on this game, its not worth it, maybe wait for a huge sale and for them to fix it, I'm sure I should've.

First of all, I love the first insurgency, its amazing and intense and the most important thing is its servers, you get all the modes, the filters etc. a proper server browser (and good ping).

Now sandstorm is great in terms of gameplay and audio, but I suppose the lack of optimization is really hurting its performance. I have a 1080 ti and I get massive frame drops that make this game unplayable (not exaggerating). I was only able to properly play when I set everything to low. So the first problem kinda solved.

Now the servers... the browser is almost non existent, no filters no game modes no anything just "empty" and "full" checks, and the lag is atrocious, or at lease in my region because of course no support for middle east. But the first insurgency was much better, why is it any different here?

I really hope they can fix these issues because I still do love this game and when I finally by some chance find a good server the game is very enjoyable and i could play for hours.

Update: the game is much better now and i fully recommend it. Its not without its flaws but still a great game.

The community is cancer, period. If you want to get cancer, play this game.

First of all, anyone who buys an EA game MUST!!!! understand that there will be bad and some gamebreaking issues. And MUST understand that any progress you make might (and it will) get lost or removed at anytime for the new updates. This is just the basic knowladge to know about EA games. I see alot of them complaining about losing progress, saves and whatnot. But what do you really expect?? A fully functioning game with no issues?? thats just stupid.

Now for the review of the game, its great. it is early yes but it is great with great atmosphere and graphics. Good mining and gathering of resources that will keep you busy for hours. It really gives you the sense of actually working hard for something. you have to explore to find the resources you want and not just find them scattered everywhere around you.
I also like the way we can build structures and customize them. they are not fixed structures as i have believed. first you build the "bones" of the structure then you choose each wall to be windowed or closed or whatever type there is. I just think its a nice idea :D. you can build vehicles and a spaceship. There crazy and scary monsters ( and a BIG A** giant sand worm that wil scare the living hell out of you). and overall an awesome world to be in, i just can't wait for them to expand it and truly experience it fully.

there are some faults and issues here and there but i wont write them here. because this is an EA and anything could change. So if theres anything you don't like or you have some suggestions, just go to the forums and tell the developers what you want. And they do actually listen to us.

Much amaze

This game is amazing. and whats more amazing are the developers, they actually stood by this game and frequently update it with fixes, optimizations and adding new and fun content.

But its still an early access game, so expect bugs and glitches here and there from time to time, but not much, at least for me. it actually runs better than some fully fledged and complete games(e.g. farcry 4, it woudn't run for an hour without crashing.)

the community is great, but ofcourse you'll encounter some idiots but no worries. There are alot of helpful people, you could easily make friends here.

This game has alot of content, alot alot.... you could be creative at whatever you do. At building houses, bases etc... at hunting and taming, at almost anything. And thats without the mods... mods can be super fun and will give you a whole new gameplay. Well I don't think have to explain what mods do(or can do).

Finally, the developers are great, they really listen to us when we suggest things and ideas. They keep you informed about everything thats going on with the development. Just great... So if you encounter anything you think needs to change or you have an idea or find a bug, just go and tell them and they'll gladly help.
