Synopsis
The Gensis Order is part visual novel, part point and click adventure game. It is the third installment of The Lust Epidemic series. The second title being Treasure of Nadia. You do not need to play the first two games to understand what is going on, but it will give you a little more background on the story.

Story
You, first name customizable, are 27 years old. Your last name is Canmore. You're a detective and you work for Melissa Bhatt. You live in North Santiva. You are investigating "The Guild" an art and artifact theft ring. The more you investigate the more you find to investigate.

Gameplay
You start off by being able to set the name of the main character. This game isn't a large a leap as going from Lust Epidemic to Treasure of Naida. If you're familiar with Treasure of Nadia, Genesis Order won't introduce you to much new. While the story itself is linear, you have a little leeway on how you get to the next point. However, you still have to do specific actions before you are able to advance the story.

While the game is being released in Early Access, the main story is complete. What is missing are the additional puzzles, currently there are only five complete puzzles, and additional post story content. What isn't missing is content. There is easily over 24 hours of content, 12 women, 128 scenes. Not all of the scenes are NSFW, but I'm pretty sure more than 100 are.

Some of the characters from Treasure of Nadia make an appearance, some more than others. The "Love Potion", while part of the story, is only a very minor part. This story is more supernatural, angels and demons.

The light the torches of Nadia aspect has been changed to gargoyle activation, but there are only eight (currently). Like Nadia you get the impression of open world when actually the game is highly gated. You will have things you can see and won't be able to interact with them until you have the right equipment. There were a lot more things hidden in the walls and I wasn't fond of that aspect as unlike Lust Epidemic you can't see the sparkle in the wall to let you know there is something there.

An intelligence and strength stats have been added. Intelligence is supposed to have something to do with how much things cost, I didn't really notice much difference. The strength works as a blocker, like the tools, you'll have to move something but will be informed you don't have enough strength.

It takes about 15 minutes to get past the introduction. You cannot exit or save the game you till you complete the introduction as you do not have access to your phone. There are a lot more hints of where you need to go, green exclamation points on the map, though they do fade out later in the game. I could have done without them for a more Nadia experience. Once a character tells you to go someplace do you really need a pointer for it?

Most of the action is inside of buildings like Lust Epidemic. There is some outside action, but you are normally inside of a building for most of the action.

The Gallery
The Gallery is accessed from your phone. There is a stills gallery of images that you purchase from the story. There is also a scene gallery where you can experience the scenes you have experienced in the game again.

Final Verdict
A worthy successor to Treasure of Nadia. The scenes are longer and smoother. Game play I think is a little worse.
