Changing review after getting the mine explosion soft lock and the dock steps soft lock same day. Test your game and do better. Oh I know some people will say "will change my review if it gets patched" but I wont.

PR system is awful and over taxes the players time, it also unlocks far too early in the game. I know this sounds like a helpful mechanic but its actually just a penalty to the player

We cant delete zombies? Why?

We cant intentionally downgrade a sermon and can accidentally over level the writing level so we cannot use new sermons because they will craft as gold variants. There is an over powered +4 writing perk at the beginning of the tree that almost guarantees this problem will happen to someone.

Very mediocre crafting/survival game that does some things right and some things poorly. The skill system that levels as you do any given activity is rewarding and makes things like chopping wood feel like it matters. The combat isnt exactly V rising but its a cut above what we normally get in these games. The game constantly annoys you though, the enemies represent significant threats to you for most of your time in any new region and they are everywhere. The game also has a habit of spawning enemies around you while youre mining or logging and on several occasions while building a house I was knocked out of Occulus by a band of enemies that had apparently spawned to raid me. A dragon will sometimes just spew poison all over the map while youre out exploring and its just annoying. The game has side quests but they are extremely underwhelming and the game really gives the impression that it has 1,000 under developed shallow systems instead of sticking to 3 or 4 well developed, deep systems. Its not a bad survival crafting game but I dont give thumbs up for mediocre games in genres rife with choice. Go play V Rising or Palworld. If youve already done that and really want to play DragonWilds then for $30 this is an acceptable option

Very slow and punishing game that suffers from the exact same issues extraction shooters have. Theres some good stuff here if Milsims are your thing but it offers a deeply frustrating experience more often than not. Youre often torn between playing extremely safe and kind of just hanging out in a voice chat room ADSing at a large patch of ground no one ever enters or youre getting killed by a guy behind a tree 100 yards away and now youre respawning and having to trek all the way back to the FOB. The game can be fun when squads are moving together and pushing but sometimes you get a bunch of people farming money building and moving resources. Nothing stops 3/4 of your team sitting in the rear farming cash doing logistics while a handful of uncoordinated people try to do anything else. The game can be very fun but it can also be tedious, slow, and frustrating. It depends what kind of lobby you get and thats never a good time. If you like extraction shooters, if you like hell let loose youll find something here. However I dont think they are doing as good job as some streamers say when they mention how War Dogs straddles the line between a battlefield and an arma. The game will find fans but I think ultimately many people will bounce off this game as soon as streamers and youtubers stop talking about it. 6/10

We all know what nexon is and did

its Xcom 2 with a star wars skin. If you wanted more Xcom this is more xcom. It does a lot more with builds for your soldiers than Xcom 2 did and its more story driven where as Xcom 2 didnt have much story but this is exactly what you think it is and its good. Fix the overwatch cones though, they are not accurate enough

Creative Assembly failed to over monetize this game with 50 DLCs totaling hundreds of dollars like it does WarHammer so this game never even got to the three kingdoms era it is literally named after. CA has long since lost its way, this game isnt half of what it could or should be. Massive disappointment

A lot of people like the game, thats cool a lot of people like to smoke crack and groom kids too that doesnt make it good. Combat just sucks, it wants to demand you get good at it but it doesnt have the decency to be fun enough to want to. Your sword has no weight, your gun shoots BB's and your character feels like hes moving under water. Animation locks galore as you swing your cardboard sword and dozens of enemies chip away at you with guns from across the screen while youre stuck perma dodging the 40 zerglings that threaten to evaporate your whole health bar should you stop dodge roll spamming. Its a spectacle and WH is a cool universe but the execution here is bad. Some people, mega fans of WH might like it but theres a reason this game lives on a deep discount to barely maintain its tiny player base. Most people will not enjoy horde shooter dark souls aka SM II

Whether its realistic or not, whether its fair or not its just not fun as a new player. The community hates this game but logs in everyday, its League of Legends with tanks. An excessively punishing game for new players where most of its player base hates it but cant stop logging in. You'll see so many comments from veteran players like "just dont install" and you should listen. If you have a lot and I do mean a lot of patience and youre going to be able to play 8-10 hours a day then maybe but otherwise the game is just frustrating and demands far too much effort and time from a new player just to get to a point of only being slightly incompetent. You will spend a lot of time dead, driving to get one shot and be dead, and wondering what the hell is going on. Not saying its cheating, not saying its unfair necessarily, not saying its a bug or anything like that but you will get frustrated, and you will either become an addicted loser or hates the game but refuses to stop banging their head on that grind wall or youll uninstall. Most players will bounce off this title and if it wasnt F2P and it was paid they player base would certainly cut in half if not more.

Im going to evaluate Crimson Desert as I go, if my opinion changes then my review changes. I think thats fair for a game of this size. First couple of hours are as bad as everyone says. Im really hoping that the amazing game I keep hearing about after the first 10 hours happens and isnt just cope and sunk cost. Im happily playing the game but Im starting it at a thumbs down because 1) game has major lighting problems, for most people the game will not be the beautiful game you heard it is. It will be dark, shadows will flicker and weird blurring and artifacting will occur. The game relies heavily on Ray Reconstruction to make its lighting...less unacceptable and RR is extremely taxing. If you dont want your card red lining you probably cant run RR and if you cant run RR then the lighting is totally f*****. Game looks good in some places and pretty bad in others its really all over the place and the rumors of this games unparrelled beauty are greatly exaggerated. Combat so far is kind of brain dead but its also fun in a way. So far all Ive done is very random fetch quests and odd tasks for no real reason as the game introduces every mechanic it has (it has a lot) one at a time at random. I can envision this game getting really good but right now its not. Everything you heard about the game good and bad is in someway true. It can look beautiful and it can look like mud smeared over Sh**. It can be fun and then boring as hell. A ten hour long tutorial which is what the first 4 chapters of the story have been is beyond too long and other games have been blasted for taking less time to get going. Its a huge game that is theoretically up my alley so ill stick with it for at least 10

Got another couple of hours in and unlocked the Greymane camp and the game has kind of said ok now you can explore the open world. Its not true you have to wait until now to do it but this is where the game feels like its tutorial is over. I have another character I can play as, I have more of a reason to chop trees and find ores, I found a cool armor behind a waterfall. Im starting to enjoy the game. At this point I would agree with steams 82%. Im hoping the game manages to continue to reel me in. Is 7 hours too long? Yeah but its not quite the 10 I was told and if you really wanted to you could probably do it in 3 or 4 if you know you need to speedrun the opening hours.

Not a good example of these bullet heaven style horde games. In a genre saturated with average and mid vampire survivor clones this does nothing to stand out. I really cannot think of a single reason to play this over the better titles in this genre
