I never played Quake ever in my life and have only been exposed to the call of duty or overwatch but this is a pretty decent shooter. I would totally rec anyone to download this since it's free till the 18th and play one game to keep it. This game seems very casual to play if you don't have anything else going on and you just want to hang with some friends and chill out. Quake champions runs real smooth and the gameplay honestly isn't bad. The maps are pretty spread out to point where you do actually have fun and champions all from what I was able to play that were "free" were fun to play with. This game does give you loot boxes as you level up that unlocks special things which I think is cool. I would like to say I have never ever played any Quake game and in public match, I won every game like 10 ten games straight. This game is hard to get used to at first because it's super fast but after a while, you get to know your champion and it starts to become fun.

Only cons to this game is that the developers do tend to put a big emphasis on paying for better champions or more lootboxes but champions don't really make or break the game as you get four free champions when you play the game and even people playing the good champions still will suck. The champions don't make the game better, it's up to players skill on whether or not they are good.

I would like to point out that after your first game you get like 200,000 coins which you can use in store to get lootboxes. You can also use real money to get lootboxes but I see no point in that because every level you can get good loot boxes.

The only downfall to the game is that if you want more champions you have to pay real money for them aside from the four free ones you get. You can unlock champions in game but developers make champions cost so much. Aside from that though, the game is completly fair weapon wise and champions don't make or break the game. Everything is balanced and at the end of the day it all comes down to your teams skill or your skill.


I never played the game ever and I am not good at Pc shooters but I won every match 10 games straight. Don't listen to negative reviews or haters that critize one thing. This game is an 8/10 barely. It's not a horrible game or bad game but it's a decent game that you can hangout and just play with friends.

This game is better than star wars battlefront 2 ea situation and the devs arn't nearly as bad as EA but the champions costing real money does suck! Though, I still would play.
