No earth ground = static charge pooling on your PC's chassis.

Here's the chain reaction: your PSU, motherboard, GPU, and drives all bleed residual voltage onto the case. Normally the PSU's ground pin (pin 3) silently drains it into your surge protector's earth bus. No ground pin working? Nowhere for it to go. It just sits there.

That stray charge turns your shielded cables (mouse, keyboard, dongle, HDMI, ethernet) into tiny antennas. Instead of draining noise, their shielding starts radiating it, right onto the signal wires inside.

Result: input/output lag.
