Good game, Great gameplay, would easily recommend, with some caveats.

Optimization doesn't exist, likely won't ever exist, It's a modern game release, everyone knows what to expect at this point. The Minimum requirements are absolutely wrong, start from the Recommended requirements if you want to actually play at 1080p at +60fps (stuttering can mostly be fixed with a couple community-discovered workarounds, otherwise it's part of the gameplay).

The story is there, It's OK I guess.

The gameplay is perfect (personal opinion, if it's not for you, it's not for you).

The game DOES get regular updates, so it will probably improve a teeny tiny bit when it comes to bugs, glitches and some content from time to time, but like I said, it will likely never get optimized to run well, the stuttering has been largely solved by the community for a while now and at the same time I doubt the devs will actually solve it for everyone.

The "stickers" are there to stay, if you don't know, do your research. If they're a deal-breaker for you, this game is not for you, unless you're willing to find the correct mod, install it and remove them yourself, it's a modern game, it is what it is.


Other than that, great replay-value, great graphics, most of the devs really did show AAA how it's done, you WILL NOT find any better modern AAA release anytime soon, this is probably as good as it will get.

To cut it short, the game has been dead for a while now. Last REAL release was back in may 2023, since then there has been barely anything worth mentioning. No, adding community mods into the base game isn't "New content"(visible bucket liquids, among others), No, making the rusty ship less shiny isn't G A M E C H A N G I N G.

The base game lacks content and I wouldn't recommend it, at best you'd get a couple hours from it, with a couple dozen mods it's alright. For their original asking price it's a waste of money, at the current discount for 4$ it's OK(with mods). Just don't expect any updates, at all, this will likely be it for this game.

Regarding the game's community, don't even bother, anyone with an actual opinion has already been banned, it's an echo-chamber. If you ask a question, expect only vetted or "correct" answers. Honesty doesn't exist. Just get in the workshop, download the modloader and that's it.

Joke aside, the game requires a Microsoft account for it to work, somehow it didn't need one from me yesterday and I played for like 70 mins.

3.50$ is too much for this game.
