That's something may not give much thought to while building layouts, or DLing, is, tables, with many legs like the wooden look are also large users of resources. Myself gave up on those long ago, now just go with the solid base tables. Tables / Shapes containing round edges, sections etc. are also users of resources just like any mod from the WS with lots of round parts to them.

Mods will eat the pc, esp. if lots of them since each creator uses different methods within blender, thus, the same model can be different file sizes once saved imported to RL. Some are optimized, while others are not. Least, sounds like your back to a workable state, a good thing.
