Remember the first time you played Terraria or Starbound? After a short impression of 10 hours i must say i was addicted again. Never would have thought i would be investing that much time in a early acces game.

Prepare yourself for a couple or hours of exploring, building, fighting and crafting. At first it might be a big learning curve as you die a lot when you venture to far out, but once you get familiar and level up that isnt a issue anymore. So in the beginning just keep slaying those fluffy sheep who are jumping all over the place.

So if you like Terraria, Starbound and want to see how this developer implements his ideas to the genre you probably should buy the damn game :P

Compared to Homefront 2: The Revolution this game should actually have a $500 retail price.

Bought it for about 15,- and still a waste of money.
Next itteration i'll wait for a 5.- sale because that's what i would be willing to pay for the new 2017 "skin".

Its 2016 Sega get your head out of your *** and try and put some effort into the franchise.

Just like minecraft its a game about building stuff. Difference however is that you only need to harvest 9 items to built whatever you want. Include a bit of magic and were all set for an adventure.

When you start the game it will ask you to built some basic items (this is the tutorial section most of us already mentioned in their reviews).
After building a couple of items it was unclear for me how to proceed so i had to watch on youtube what to do next.
Hopefully they will make some changes to the tutorial in a future patch.
Also dont let the lion scare you as i realized after running half a mile its your pet (the wolves arent lol).

I managed to built a nice little house on the beach (again thanks to youtube, yes its early access).
One nice thing there's is to do is the ability to create your own sidekick.
Want a wooden giant as your friend? Built it and make it come to life!
After beating several knights and raiding their chests i had enough of the game for now, perhaps the next patch will bring me back for some more.
Of course i could always play multiplayer for some human interaction and have a look at their creations.

Nice documentary about the traveling the open spaces of the USA on a bicycle.

And If it was all downhill i would take the trip myself (but skip the mosquitoes lol)

Chaotic frenzy gunfight while you try to evade everything coming your way.
