Loved the story and atmosphere. The auto-save system is a bit frustrating, and some of the puzzles/locations could have done with some additional signposting. Ending is a bit of a tease - admittedly I predicted early that it would be ambiguous, but it still didn't quite resonate as hard as I hoped. All in all though, a strong game with some great moments. I recommend using a controller for a particular early game puzzle.

This is such a fun way to just chill out - put on some of your favourite music, and look for that zen state of bullet hell goodness. Recommend highly. Years later I still love to dip in and have a casual session from time to time.

It's (really) imperfect, but there's a narrative in that imperfection that just got me. Can't wait to see how it patches, and where the DLC takes it. I don't blame anyone waiting for the quality of life improvements to land, but I think there's enough there now to make it a wonderful experience. I even found some of the bugs weirdly charming (like when my handgun disappeared and I roamed around killing enemies with fingerguns for a while).

Compelling world with interesting lore. Strong companion characters as well.

It's everything you want from a isometric RPG that's cosplaying hard as a Baldur's Gate entry. Some of the writing was fantastic. If you're an unabashed noob like me, you'll appreciate all the customisation you can do with the challenge levels. I also love "fast mode" - I can't imagine anyone ever playing it without!

This is a fun little hack and slasher that offers a bit of a distraction for a while. Nice bright artwork keeps things interesting, though it could definitely do with some proofreading in the opening crawl. Definitely would suit a controller more than keyboard though - unless you've got more flexible fingers than me!

This was a fun, and peculiar game with some awesome meta-game elements that I haven't experienced since Metal Gear Solid. It messes with you as a player, and there's some intriguing narrative tricks happening here. Definitely worth a playthrough, though I was too slack to play again to find all the hidden tickets. Absololutely earned it's uninstall at the end :D

This is such a clever little game - a beautiful little mystery, with just a hint of ambiguity in the ending to keep you talking. One simple mechanic, and a drip-feed of the story in a non-linear fashion makes for a compelling experience. I highly recommend it!

This game is free, and quite short which makes it worth a look. It's basically a short Gothic Horror Story, but with similar mechanics to a game like Gone Home or Dear Esther. I thought it was a tidy, clever approach to telling a classic ghost story, but suffered from writing that was trying to be far too literary for its own good, and voice actors who sounded inauthentic delivering the heightened speech it was written in. I appreciated this game, and I am recommending it - but I wouldn't ever play it again.
